About damn time this woman receives praise in the U.S. The music industry and the press kept snobbing her, and yet she never gave up. That's resilience right there! 👏
I think you mean praise within this space, as a Broadway performer. Generally, she was the lead singer of the Pussycat Dolls and is Grammy nominated, both as part of that group and in her own right.
Sure, sure, sure. But what about BILDUNGSBÜRGERTUM in the house! Respekt. Weiter so.
It's truly nice to see such a pretty young woman who is dainty, feminine & petite on a talk show such as this; the fact Nicole is super talented with a beautiful voice, not screeching mimis not into a microphone, but just singing. We we're wondering where the Pussycat Dolls went, with her in the lead. Wishing her all the best on Broadway & thensome!
I saw this on Broadway a month ago and I hope she wins every award she can. It is incredible. There were three standing ovations in the MIDDLE of the performance, and then another one at the close.
Thank goodness. Give her more. She beyond capable, genuinely talented, and works her ass off (and she shouldn’t have to given how skilled she is). She shines everywhere, give her the stage.
Saw sunset live last weekend and she is inCREDible. Have loved her for years, finally people catching up and realizing how amazingly talented she is. ❤️❤️
I got to see her a couple weeks back, I vowed that I would if the show transferred to Broadway. Obviously she was phenomenal but what I really love is that she’s finally having her moment. She’s been underrated for so long despite being an excellent vocalist, incredible dancer, and in the past couple years, a wonderful actress. While I don’t think anyone could have predicted Sunset Boulevard would be the vehicle, the world is finally giving her her flowers ❤️
What in the world? My eyes teared up and I got a lump in my throat when she starting singing. I've never been a fan of drama and stage, that's...amazing!
I don't think I ever took much time to pay attention to Nicole's talent over the years. As soon as she started singing here, my heart just melted. As Luther Vandross is reported to have said, "Sing TO me, not AT me." God bless her. I hope that opportunities just grow for her after Sunset Blvd.
When she was in the Pussycat Dolls she basically said executive produced their hit album, she truly deserves all the recognition ❤ Congratulations Nicole, I’ve been a fan since 2010 🥰
The one and the only, Nicole Scherzinger!!!! I always knew that her voice is a gem in the industry even during her PCD days or Eden's Crush days, I knew in my heart that she is a work of art. her voice sounds expensive, beautiful and exceptional. I'm very happy that the world is now giving honor to her artistry and voice. IT'S SO OVERDUE!!!!!
I have never seen Nicole do anything that she wasn’t the absolute BEST at. Can’t wait to see her on Broadway. She is truly STUNNING in every way. 🌟 ❤👏🏻🌟
Listening Nicole’s gorgeous 🎶”As If We Never Said Goodbye”…..I can understand the amazing 6 minute standing ovation she received from the Broadway audience! What a fascinating,multi-faceted voice❗️
Wow. This interview really put Nicole in a whole different light for me. I always thought of her as "frilly," for lack of a better term. Mein Gott, the dimensions and layers to her! I'm blown away!
Her performance is phenomenal, powerful, transformative. There are not big enough words. The audience was gasping and laughing and crying...standing ovations to the Nth power. I've seen a ton of Broadway in the last 25 years and I've never experienced anything like it. Go see it ! ! !
I'm so happy she is flourishing as an actress. My dad went to school with her when I was a kid (she actually used to be my baby sitter😅). Whenever we'd see her doing something, he'd always mention that while she's a phenomenal singer, she was also a great actress.
We all saw this coming. Ever since we heard her sing Phantom of the Opera, we knew this moment was gonna happen. Andrew Lloyd Weber loves her, and her talent is immense. No surprises here.
EXACTLY! I was little then, but I instantly knew she was phenomenal. That thing happened again when I heard her cover of "Black dog", that's when I knew she can sing ANYTHING! I've loved her ever since the PCD days, but those two instances cemented my love for her forever!
I've always liked her! She is really talented! I've even seen her up close.. she was on tour in Melbourne years ago with the PC dolls and she was shopping in some tiny store down Chapel street in Melbourne. I literally stood right next to her, smiled and she smiled back. She was so shy and humble. Dressed in jeans and a hoodie over her head. A petite woman but absolutely gorgeous!
Then you’ll agree that she’s talking nonsense about the British audiences and their reaction to the show? It certainly wasn’t the way she described the British audience when I saw her in it last year!
@ why would I agree to something you’re saying? I have no idea who you are, what you’re talking about or why you are even reaching out to me…..🙄 so no, I don’t agree with strangers on the internet.
@@lyndad5210 sweetie, my post is about MY experience, your post is saying I agree with you on something I have no clue about. There is a difference. Also your vile comment says all I need to know about you.
I'm a big fan of Nicole and glad she is breaking away from pop music and focusing on classical/broadway songs. I can't wait to see more projects for her. .
I can remember seeing her in the Graham Norton show in the UK when she was in PCD, she looked like she didn't want to be there, nervous, uncomfortable in her own skin, shy, a manufacturer look. Now she has grown so much, confident, brave & settled.
If anyone who has any doubts about how incredibly talented this woman is, watch "Don't cry for me Argentina" (my favourite) and her phantom of the opera royal variety performance.
Love love our Nicole - very talented, drop dead gorgeous, very nice persy, relatable and well deserving of this moment! Long may it continue!❤ Congratulations !🎉👏❤
I saw her when PopStars first aired and she had all the star quality about her! Glad she got her second chance at fame and is still going strong. Some people are just meant to be in the spotlight!
She’s incredible. Amazing. Deserves everything she receives except for all of the negativity! I’m not religious, but I respect that she is very religious and not shy to talk about the blessings she’s received in her lifetime. At the end of the day, we all have our inspirations for why we do what we do. Don’t overthink this - go see her and the amazing production of sunset blvd for a once in a lifetime experience.
I love her! I liked her in Pussycat Dolls, but I love her doing more Broadway songs. Her voice wasn’t meant to do pop. It was meant to do Broadway! She’s beautiful, funny, talented, and people are finally seeing her talents! I can’t wait for her to keep going up!

My wife and I saw the show in the Savoy theatre London Xmas 2023. Two days before travelling to London I read that it was a minimalist interpretation and in view of the fact we had booked it because we remembered the magnificent changes of scenery and costume in the original production, thought I had made a big mistake. We are both in our 70's now and between London and Manchester we have seen every musical theatre production going (our first Superstar 1971). Nicole and let's not forget Tom Francis were both exceptional. We both rate this in our best 5 musicals of all time and better than the first but oh boy I wish I could have seen Glenn Close performing it.
