I know it’s a lot to ask but putting a score box on the bottom side of the screen would be really nice
3:55 omg what a serve and super return
Andrew definite won spinning the racquet!
No, no, no. Jayson nailed it.
Harry needs to use that when he gives his trademark: "where we put our spin on your tennis."
nice job editing this one! much more watchable. and amazing set.
Get Coach Gu on Essential Tennis vs...anyone. My money is on Gu!!!! Let's GO!
Add tennis troll there too.
vs Mark Sansait
Yes, preferably against Green Shirt!
@@robocop6573 vs Mark...one sided all Gu. I would want to see the Nat ranked D3 kid - Cole.
@@abokickel While entertaining MEP wouldn't stand a chance.
Can you make a racquet spinning tutorial? Especially the strings on the finger one
They both played great and Jason acceptance of the result is the bigfest lesson learned in that video. Huge respect for both of us and thanks to TENNIS SPIN, for putting your spin in our tennis
So nice to see them playing! I would love to see a rematch!
I like the way the players say "I am cool" at the start...they are turning their racquet around like crazy and you are the only one who is calm at the center.
Andrew with the killer serve and returns!! amazing game on both parts, and great editing :')
Wow. Such a high level.these guys must play a lot of tennis and I guess one of them is the coach. Nevertheless, respect these guys.
Great match and great job to the editor - thanks for displaying the score at the end of each game too.
Jesus this is high level
Good match! Jayson had many foot faults, though. He was often standing so close to the middle mark that he stepped on the forbidden side of it before hitting the ball. Starting only like a foot further from the middle "line" would fix this easily.
that’s what I said too lol. it happened so many times
That’s also what the coach kid does, which is not good for someone who’s meant to be a coach
I noticed the same thing with the foot faults
Thank you so much for listening and editing the match. I watched the whole video
Damn. Coach Gu is a beast!
Love to have seen Mr Fung slice wide in AD court! :)
I too thought that as well being a lefty and all. Would've opened up the court for him.
Awesome to see this high level tennis, thanks
Coach Gu is a beast! Rolled after a shaky first game. D1 vs D3, advantage has to go to D1
Hey can we get some constant scores graphics in these sets/matches you post? They're good content but having scores displayed permanently would really help!
Great video editing to shorten. Terrific set play, and wouldn't realize it a 6-0!
Nice playing from both of them=good match.
Entertaining match, super nice fulfilling this request. Andrew played great as did Jason. Jason serving at about 7% first serves really hurt him (perceived pressure and rhythm).
Great play by both of them, the set was definitely much closer than the score says. As a lefty myself, I am a but surprised, that Jayson did not go more out wide with the serve, in the ad side (in the beginning of the set), seemed to get the points when he was doing it at the end (out wide serve in the ad court for lefties is the bread and butter :) ). Enjoyed watching you both play.
@13:03 was that ball by Gu in or out? I slow mo it but it looked like it was way in... but can’t be sure
My racket strings are trembling from just watching these serves
Where are they playing?
Thanks for the 60fps video. 👍
Great editing, guys--massive improvement. Just to put everything into perspective, what kind of speed does Andrew average on that first serve?
400 mph
115-121mph my guess
Doesn’t really matter when he’s constantly footfaulting
What strings is he using for the red racquet.i believe that's a yonex ezone 95.
Did coach gu play with the vcore 95 and added lead weight today? What strings did he use and what tension? This is interesting when you can see how he really plays with the equipment in a match :-)
Great set but we need a little better camera angle to really see the speed
Now I completely understand that I am an armchair critic, but I saw two things Jayson should work on in his game. 1) get low on those slow balls coming in on his backhand side, he lost a few points by not bending his knee enough. 2) He should hit the ball in his toss on the way up right at the apex, the ball hangs around longer and it should fix his serving issues (currently he is hitting it on the way down, which is MUCH harder to do)
where is coach chris?
…perfect with the intro now…👍👍👍!
Great match!
Foot fault for the left handy guy on the deuce side?
4:30 - great return
12:49 the shot you are looking for.
Ball at 5:54 grazed the line if you slow playback speed
Does both use lead tape ?
Coach Gu has got game! Love his play style. Also a fellow vcore 95 user
Andrew Gu VS Andre Dome would be a cool match
I thought this was Dr. Jason Fung 😅
A good set! enjoyed a lot, thanks
Looks like Gu is playing with Multi strings ?
Would like to knwo this as well. What strings is he using @TennisSpin?
Next video: you vs coach rob
Can we mention peoples UTR so we get a idea of the matchups?
think they are both 12 UTR and they are both 5 star tennis recruits
Hi Harry, perhaps you should coach Andrew Gu and join the ATP tournament instead of testing raquets and strings and marking videos, think about it 😄😎
3:48 lol
Haven't even gotten past the racquet spinning and I'm into the match. Go 'Herst.
Chilling?
Good match but it is way more enjoyable with score numbers added.
Fantastic players, but Andrew is awesome!
Great match!! It would be great to have edited scores on the screen for the viewers, but I understand that is more work for the editor 😆
He hasn't been presenting these matches for too long. This is the first one with edits in between points. My guess is that he'll eventually include the scoring software. He's really new at this.
Both guys played competitive juniors. Adult rec players take note.
Jayson's forehand is a big weakness. He's swiping the ball like he's 3 5 instead of focusing on accelerating top of racquet through the ball.
5.5?
Andrew asked, “Deuce or no deuce?” How do you play “no deuce?”
jayson just loved to powerfully hit balls basically. he was not working on points to try to win it or at least make andrew work more. extending his rally patiently and trying to make first serves in with less pace until his normal serves worked more normally that day could be an option. instead, he dwelled on his frustrating mindset more and more then lost 0-6. next time, work more with the more positive mindset. sad to see a player with good shots lost badly like that and the main problem was with the thinking. andrew is a good player as well and deserves to win with better consistency, defense and positive mindset shown in the game plans during those rallies.
I'm a Josh Fung
Close games the guy had plenty of chances early on but Gu was getting them
If any junior think they can go pro? Better see if he/she can beat Gu first...
Plenty are capable, besides Gu is a constant footfaulter
Yes 60 FPS great
is 11:16 a footfault? Think he crossed a few times.
Anyway, trolling aside, insanely high level tennis.
yeah I noticed that as well, he was very close to the middle and sometimes past it during the service motion
Jayson foot faulted a ton
Gu foot faults every time he does a first serve
3:48 - wut
One massive Flaw in this one set match...did anyone measure the net height at the single side line....I bet that net height wasn’t 3’6 Inches...MACTH is null and void.. doesn’t anyone use Single Sticks anymore?
Also loads of footfaults
Somebody foot faults every time on deuce side
Both of them foot fault on that side, Jason with his lead foot drag and Gu with his back foot step
very little rallys and ground strokes in the match... i guess one person is just a lot better than the other.
Actually statistics say that pros points are way shorter than club players. But yes that was a one way set
Foot faults galore!!!
Typical modern match (games lasting 5+ minutes, not many aces, 0 points won at net).
Looks like a foot fault on the duece court every time
Ngl Jayson foot faulted so many times
So does Gu
Fung out there looking like a novice. Needs some serious work on his game.
🍩
Geez, I could have done better than that.
dude, your camera work is horrible and there's no score. you need to copy of the other tennis channels and see what they're doing...
Who who want to watch this ? Seriously ?? Two one dimensional baseline zombies going at it ...
Review some more tennis equipment already
Perhaps you should challenge one of them and show us how it's really done!
Did you even watch the match plenty of net points
No better than the other one dimensional baseline zombies on the tour ...
don’t watch then. no one is forcing you to watch .
Even though it looked good Jayson just had trouble trying to break Andrews serve. Gu's serve is monstrous.
