I do agree… Batman The Dark Knight Returns is iconic. Pretty much saved Batman from obsolescence and the dustbin of comics. I remember seeing it on the shelf at a LCS so small maybe two people could actually stand on the retail floor. It was 1986 and comic shops were just starting to emerge. It was literally in a little shack smack dab in the middle of a rock/quarry supply business. Had to ride your bike past all types of dump trucks and end loaders to get to it.

Amazing collection and marvelous presentation. Since I started collecting a few months ago I have only one slab NHOTL 1 9.8 and some raws like 1st Hobgoblin (without tattoooz unfortunately), 1st Lobo or 1st second Ghost Rider Danny Ketch. But looking forward to some big fishes in slab, some like in your video. Greetings from Poland.

Awesome collection. I need to get some of my key books slabbed but I would rather save that money to buy more key books cause you can always get books graded.

I feel that this grading crap is just away for CGC to make a ton of money cause no one ever thought of grading comics until CGC and I would rather spend my money buying more comics then getting them graded but if I get some really big key books I would grade them but no small keys and besides that all my comics stay in bag and boards and in a comic boxes. I only have a few my grails to get a TMNT#1, X-Men#1, and Batman#1 then I am done collecting unless I find key books in the wild cheap.

Great collection loved the frames frames around the cgc cases on the newer books I would have try to get more 9.8 books as they're there better investment long-term if you're ever going to want to sell them or have to sell them but the 9.6 is definitely the better value currently no disrespect to your collection it's still really nice just an observation

Very nice collection but the 80s books I don't know why you're getting such low grades it seems like you want more quantity than quality sometimes don't get me wrong you don't need to have it all 9.8 but mid 80s books you should be trying to get 9.4 at least but if you don't mind the lower grades enjoy

I hit a honey hole of raw high grade newsstand books at a local shop and it just worked out that way

We share a lot of the same tastes, especially in Batman. Particularly, the Batman #190. It's a shame Batman #155 is the first silver age Penguin and not #190.

Odd that you call out World's Finest 173 as "technically" the first silver age appearance of Two Face, but say Avengers 4 is the first silver age appearance of Captain America. Then technically, the first silver age appearance of Cap is in Strange Tales 114.

I think it really doesn't prevent damage, you've proven that. What a waste of money. Cgc and companies like them love people like you that are more concerned with value/$ of the book. Keep doing you.
