    I realized that this is the same Heihachi character trait. He wants to tear down Jin apart and build him back completely, the same purpose that he wants to do with the world.

      I lost against Heihachi the first time many times in Tekken 3 to the point that I laughed about how easy was Ogre.

    At the time where Heihachi actually treats Jin as his grandson. VERY strict, VERY harsh, but he wanted to help him. It really is sad because Jin does loved and care for Heihachi, its a real shame Heihachi doesnt return that feeling at all. He was pretty cool in this scene, a strict grandparent.

      I feel like Heihachi believes that his punishment IS love. The pain he dishes out is a gift he gives to his descendants and his duty as an elder. To teach as he was taught.

    I think this series implies that Heihachi knew beforehand that Jin had the Devil Gene, making the betrayal actually terrifying

    Keep in mind that Heihachi is 69 years old and ripped like this. Jin is a scrawny 15 year old with a mountain of muscles as a grandpa. Heihachi Mishima motivates me to get in shape.
    I wear a shirt with his tiger logo on the back.

    The Heihachi-Jin interactions were the most interesting parts to this anime. The fights were cool but we have games where we get to play those out for real, I really wanted to see the characters interact with each other besides fighting. I hope someday we get something that shows us what Kazuya did after getting thrown down the cliff. It seems it's implied that he went back to be raised by Heihachi, which is wild.

      @@NYG5 having a new voice actor for Heihachi gives promise for a season two….maybe even showing more Kazuya based storyline that’ll include his whole time entering the tournaments and seeking out Jun and finding out he’s got a son just as a cliff hanger they first do the Namco Bandai tekken into logo all set up for season 3 😎

      @v-g-lant I'm hoping that whatever media they put out to supplement the games will actually be canon so they take it seriously, like they spent money to animate that pretty good looking CGI movie just for it to be a joke that had no story implications. I like the new Heihachi VA too, glad they were smart and utilized this one from Bloodline. Something to explain Kazuya's post childhood cliff fall life would be great.

      @ heihachi is my favorite but I feel like if they really wanted to they could do a movie like “crash” where we see all the characters perspectives all come together for that final match whomever they decide to make it be…..I just need them to take it serious like u said because they def got the stuff to make all of it work just pls don’t do multiverse shit

Hiroshi Watanabe for the English voice actor meaning out of the two one of them may return to do the voice going forward for the new game …..even better if they continue the Netflix series they wouldn’t need to recast heihachis voice actor

    They should've gone for the lovable anti-hero for Heihachi. I really wanted to see him in the good light. Wanting to do everything to save the world, even killing his family to save the world from the Devil -- but feeling pain from the inside. Some subtlety and it would've worked wonders.

    Jin became that much strong thanks to Heihachi. Without Heihachi as his mentor and grandfather, Jin never had a chance to beat Ogre.

    Kazana style is for warm-up at best 😂😂 that part was actually the truth. In front of Mishima style, I don't think Kazama style is that good. Couldn't play the game with Kazama style without losing multiple times (heihachi was my main)

    I always found it a shame that Heihachi was a straight-up villain. With a little more nuance, he would've been a compelling anti-hero.
    But it's hard to feel bad for him when he gets killed by someone just as evil and ruthless as he is, no matter how sympathetic Tekken 7 tried to make him seem.

      I always found heihachi to be one of the more anti-villain type characters that over age he calmed his ways and focused it into finding ultimate power so that none could challenge him he just didn’t expect his son to be on the same path all while trying to kill heihachi as well and then the cycle constantly repeated itself with each new Mishima discovered

      @@v-g-lant I mean, all his arcade endings involved him taking over the world with an iron fist. It's stated by pretty much everyone that his path leads to a world overrun by darkness. His rivalry with his son was basically evil vs evil.
