A properly poured glass of beer has a substantial head for nose, texture, etc. Pouring a full glass without foam is for bang-for-buck-buzz at a kegger, which is fine, but it isn't the full experience of the beer.
Problem is that HEAD is PART of the beer. If you measure the first segment of your finger and then half way down the next segment, that is the proper amount of head on a per pint basis.

Dont get me wrong, these parents were clearly negligent, but this is a horrible precedent when the school system is actively trying to drive a wedge between kids and their parents, telling kids to keep secrets from their parents...
