Survival ammo, wilderness survival ammo, best survival ammo, best bear defense ammo.
Imagine watching this video and taking a 30-30 or 6.5 Creedmoor to Alaska, and trying to defend yourself against a charging grizzly or brown bear, only to watch the rounds have no effect whatsoever, then you get mauled by a pissed off/wounded bear lol 😂🤣😂🤣
It’s pronounced 454 “Kah-Sool” my guy. Not Castle 😂
Exactly! Much on here us bogus. No 460 or 500 smith and wesson. And since he was putting AR style guns in there he should have put in the 450 Bushmaster and the 50 Beowulf
Bear defense is not equal to bear hunting. Big difference.
Got that sh*t right! You had better make sure 5:00 that first shot hits a vital area otherwise that grizz will maul you while it's bleeding to death.
if you miss , it doesn't matter what you use .
Bingo.
Well, if you use an ak 47 on full auto with incendiary bullets, I guess it won't matter that much if one or two bullets miss the target... just my guess...
No dip Sherlock
Great list! Although I probably would have put the 300 win mag or even 308 in the place of the 6.5 creedmoor
Absolutely ✌️
You lost me at 6.5 Creedmoor.
I really wonder what the heck these people where thinking when they made this video.
6.5 Creedmoor? LOL wut
Guaranteed bear stopper 458 Winchester Magnum ... And any other things you might run into including big foot if they exist.
Love watching these videos where they don’t know what they are talking about I live in Alaska a bear can sneak up on you so you only get one shot and I have seen a grizzly take multiple shots from a 338 and 500sw mag once they get full of adrenaline the can become unstable
I agree these videos are done by arm chair experts. I like the ones that say "Five guns you cannot live without" or "Best guns for home defense".. None of them say "in my opinion" after the title.
Personally we dont really have bears so i cant speak from experience but a brass solid slug from a 12 gauge seems about as mean as it gets for stopping a large critter such as a grizzly bear.
Turdoo says YOU CANNOT USE A FIREARM FOR PERSONAL DEFENSE IN CANADA... OK Turdoo...lets see you respond to a charging grizzly
You have to laugh watching this video , 😊😮
I would leave out any cartridge that from its platform that you are carrying that doesn’t have at least 1,500 Ft. Lbs of energy if I was in dangerous animal areas. Remember that a short barreled handgun doesn’t have the energy that a 6 - 7 1/2” barrel pistol does. Don’t carry anything that is so light that you have no chance to hit the bear with follow-up shots quickly if needed. A wounded bear can and will still attack and most likely kill you. Stay aware of your surroundings and stay safe all!
"Castle" 😂
Right!!!😂 Casull!!!✌️
Right? It's hard to take this guy serious sometimes 🤣🤣🤣
@@n7warlock22 Sometimes?
“5 most deadly” - he can’t count.😂
The secret for revolvers is to use non-expanding high antimony bullets, such as a 300gr, in a 44 Mag. handgun.
U didn't mention 480 , 500 , 308 , 50 beowolf
you forgot the 500 s&w magnum
Smith 460 Magnum...???
You forgot the 454 Casull. 1 shot/1 kill.
39-06 for black, 416 Rigby for grizzly country. Don't mess around.
Got that right.
Brass 12 gauge slugs
Sucks to be a bear
Good ammunition recommendations.
If you go where the Bears may be a concern, ask the locals what to bring, not this computer voice.
.22 caliber and a friend
Substitute the .357 with the 10mm if capacity is your thing. It's probably cheaper by comparison considering the ludicrous prices for most revolvers anyway. I myself have a Rock Island FSHC 16+1 and can carry both extra mags on me if need be. That's a whole lot of "ouch". Mine was bought for $700 something but I've seen a number of sites liquidating theirs for an even $500 before tax. I felt cheated after seeing that.
At the same time, I'd avoid bear country right off the bat and certainly would have to question what a hiker or hunter might be doing to antagonize the fuzzy guys enough to warrant an angry charge. Tons of people claim they're the type wild animals who go out of their way to avoid humans.
10mm,308

If I’m not mistaken, in Alaska, some people still carry a Winchester model 71 in .348 or other rifles in 45/70.. Two very old calibers but ammunition can still be found or do it yourself loading the ammo. I reload so that helps.
Went hunting in Idaho. Our cook could only use one arm. He said that he used to guide for elk and he stepped over a dead fall. A bear was lying behind it, jumped up and swatted him in the shoulder. It then picked him up by his head, dragging him between it's legs. The hunter opened up on it with a 300 Win. Mag. He could hear the shots hitting the bear, like " a baseball bat hitting a wall" After the 4th hit, the bear dropped him, reared back and acted like it was swatting flies, and fell over dead. The bear had no reaction from the first 3 shots, even though he was mortally wounded.
@@turbo32coupe it’s scary when they are pumped with adrenaline they physically won’t drop until their body gives out
nearly everyone in the comments think bear = terminator
SMH
That 454 Castle 🏰 is a bear 🐻 stopper!😂😂😂
The best ammo.. #1. Something in the 1 megaton range. #2 Moab. #3 GBU-57 #4 Cruise missile. #5 155 Howitzer.
You forgot my favorite handgun caliber. The 7.5 brno psd handgun.
Also good for personal self defence.
300 HAMR is 300 Blackout?
It's close to the same thing
Get a clue! All ammo is deadly. That's primarily what it's made for.
👍😎🍺🍩💥💥
Which cartridge you think is appropriate for bear defence?
Its pronounced.454 “kah-Sool” bro. Not Castle.
Slugs…
Ugh. I fired *ONE* of those evil things.
A 700 Nitro Express for Grizzly😮
Lmao
Bear's? No! Humans yes
Use bear spray first, if that fails go to the gun. If you go to the gun first you could unalive yourself
Ya but using bear spray you could spray yourself in the process. Pros and cons to both.
Respeta la vida de los animales y su hábitat
454 is a wrist breaker. So is a 50 in a hand gun. .. GIVE ME MY 41. MAG. LESS MUZZLE FLIP AND RECOIL,, WITH AS MUCH HITTING POWER AS A 44. YOU PEOPLE ARE NOT VERY INTELLIGENT
