Hey there, I’m new to your page and I will admit that at first seeing you in the sweater and glasses, I had no idea you’d be such a massive SHREDDER, very cool!! Thanks for this review, I have a very bad tendon problem in my left hand right right now and I’m looking at really light string options. Thankfully, I have a light touch so I’m thinking I will enjoy these as well as I enjoy the Ernie ball 8’s.
Will need to try these strings. Nice demo, especially the slower parts as most of the fast stuff wasn't too pleasant for me. I'm a fan of fast stuff as long as it's melodic and I felt some of it was just flung in for the sake of it. I don't want to come across nasty, it's just my opinion as you're obviously a good guitar player but it's learning when to play certain fast runs. I used to speed pick everything until I heard myself back time and time again then the penny dropped, some of this just doesn't fit this groove etc. Anyway, have a nice new year and thank you for posting the video.
Everyone seems to be wanting lighter strings these days but I’m going in the opposite direction. I’m 57 and played super slinky strings since the 80’s then last they year sounded so thin I couldn’t take it anymore and moved to regular slinky and actually broke a string from over bending. I don’t know why but I can’t find the target note when I bend 10 gauge strings so I was about to go back to the super slinky strings and and thought why not try 11 gauge so I put on a set of power slinky’s and it was the best thing. As soon as I got them tuned I hit an E major chord and found the tone I was looking for. That woody tone I’ve heard guitarists speak of for years and no problems over bending , no breaking strings and my fingers are stronger than they’ve ever been.
I can’t use anything lower than 10s. I feel like my sound is super weird. 🤷♂️ These sound awesome through your gear though man. Nice to see some new vids as well. 🤙🏻
They sound good Johnny but I should imagine it's really easy to hit 'em too hard, some of those high bends were screaming a little bit too much and losing some power. Nice playing though mate!👍
That comedy skit was gold! 😂 Glad to see you survived. You're incredibly talented!
New favorite gutair RUclipsr
I’ve been playing these now for a few months and absolutely love them! Effortless playing for hours and they sound great!
Ive converted to 8 gauge (willys) and the only issue ive run into is getting used to the bends. It is so freaking easy to overbend a note.

Hello. I am alive and well. New video will be up in about 2 days. I am just about finished. thanks for your patience. I really appreciate it.
@@johnnyanderson8901 awesome 😀
Awesome playing.
I didn't explain the question is about YJM pots for YJM Seymour Duncan pickups.
I'm missing your videos. I have a question, have you seen YJM pots? Which is better 250k or 500k? Thanks John. Greetings from Costa Rica.
How do they stay in tune?
Go Johnny go.
I play aggressive I'd break 8s and would throw 7s out of tune I'm sure
