Irvine definitely has walkable neighborhoods which they also have trails that connect most neighborhoods. When it comes to transit you have the bus but I like taking the metro link, though it only has one station. Is there a specific neighborhood that interest you? So I can give you more information on it.

Well if you're looking for apartments with all the amenities, I would say check out the Irvine Company (www.irvinecompanyapartments.com/). But they are a little pricy, now if you're looking for something more affordable I would say check out condos for rent which tend to be a few hundred dollars cheaper in the Irvine area. Are you planning on relocating to Irvine?

In Irvine I would say the Irvine Spectrum and Irvine business complex by John Wayne airport has a lot of luxury apartments density wise.
