It’s All In Who You Know
    Ephesians 1:17-20
Today we're going to talk about one powerful principle that has the ability, to change your life, and change your whole entire relationship with God. By understanding this one concept your entire spiritual life can move to another level.
A lot of times we think about thriving in our Christian life. We think I need to do more, I need to do a better job obeying the Ten Commandments, I need to serve God more, or I need to give more. While those are important things, what we're going to talk about today is even more important than all of those things, in fact, it's the foundation for everything that a Christian does. I want to see you be a person that is filled with joy, a person who is filled with excitement, a person that is on the edge of what God is doing in our community and even in your life. When we begin to apply this one thing, and we begin to live by this one mantra, we begin to thrive.
In Ephesians 1:17-18 Paul says the greatest thing in life is to know God. When we know God, he will grant you wisdom to make the right decision, strength to overcome obstacles to keep fighting even when we don’t have the energy to do so.
Discuss in your Home Group how knowing God in each situation can empower your life.

    Verse to Remember
I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints.
