  • Interview with Sonia Cenceschi.
    Sonia Cenceschi is a researcher of the Digital Forensic Service of the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI). She is also scientific committee member of the Forensic Group Italian association.
    She defended her PhD (cum Laude) at the Politecnico di Milano, at the
    ARCSLab research group, DEIB department. After a degree in Engineering at the University of Pisa with a dissertation in acoustics, she gets a Master degree in Electronic Music and Audio Technologies at the Conservatory of Music G. Verdi in Como with a thesis focused on perception related to digital audio restoration. In 2010 she attended the Masterclass SAMPL (DEI and C. Pollini Conservatory of Padua) dedicated to the conservation, restoration and use of recordings.
    From 2013 he began to practice as a professional in forensic and musical applications of restoration and digital audio analysis.
    Since 2014 she has been enrolled in the register of experts in audiophorense (criminal section) at the Court of Como and actively collaborates with the Italian and Italian law enforcement agencies.
    He has two experiences as a guest researcher at the Department of Forensic Speech Science of York University (UK) and the SpinLab of the University of the Basque Country in Bilbao.
