Thank you for this, i've been looking for a guide to games specifically for my 3yo, and none of the other vids considered the learning and frustration that much younger players might experience. Much appreciated.
I’m 62 and I bought a Nintendo switch lite, and this is the first time I ever played so I thought I need to go back and find out what games that would be easy for me so I found your site and I think it will be helpful for me to learn how to play❤
My girlfriend has a daughter and I got her a switch lite for Christmas. No clue what game she is capable of playing at 5 years old. This video was exactly what I needed! Thank you
another great game for kids that wasn't mentioned is kirby star allies, the game makes it really hard to game over because you constantly get stsrs for extra lives and there is a pop up menu to help your child solve little puzzles that can be toggled on or off
Thanks for putting this list together! Spyro is a great choice, and Kirby - well I'm sure a 3-4 year old won't worry about the lack of story etc that many people struggled with... I'm wanting my son to have fun, so I'll probably stick to the first two games you listed.
My kid is 7 but not gaming literate. She plays infrequently and enjoys casual gaming. Her fave games are gang beast. Mario n sonic olympics and 12 switch. But she still cant negotiate the menus. This is good for me.
I’m a grandma and my granddaughter and I share a love of gaming. Unfortunately, the new games seem more difficult for kids who are still learning to read. I’m going to get the Mario maker for sure and probably odyssey. Thanks!
I got a switch for Christmas and I love Rocket League, Fall Guys(I got a win in 2 shows), Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and Super Kirby Clash.(those are the games I have) I'm a kid by the way
@@Ralph_Craft i find crafted world to be hard because it plays like mario 64 and you need a certain number of flowers to progress, maybe try the og yoshi's island because you don't need to collect everything
Thank you for explaining the different play modes. I get annoyed with games where you die enough times and go back to the beginning. I’m just a casual player so I appreciate those modes even though I’m an adult. Do you know if any other Mario games have that assisted play feature?
They may be "accessible" games for a large audience, but I doubt they are the ones a 3-year-old can understand beyond enjoying the drawings. I would say 6 and up. Currently, as with cartoons, there are also games for early childhood, Peppa Pig, for example, is a good option. It is not the same maturity and dexterity at 3 as at 6 or more years.
I disagree, my youngest at age 3 has played and beaten Mario Odyssey twice. Granted he hasn’t gotten any of the harder moon nor has he played without assist mode but he has enjoyed the game for many hours. I bought Peppa Pig with the same thoughts you bring up but the game just won’t keep his attention. Honestly I feel like I wasted $30 on Peppa Pig and I cannot recommend it.
I haven’t however all these games would suit that age group too. If you’re in doubt of a certain game you can look at reviews online (RUclips) and the ESRB ratings. You can also pop in my discord and ask questions there where all the people on my discord are super chill and helpful.
I miss the old, easy to play games from the 80's like Donkey Kong, The Smurfs, Lady Bug, Qbert, Centipede, Frogger and dozens more. These new games are too complicated, I lose interest.
My daughter began at 4 years old with easy games and is playing breath of the wild without any help with 7 years old. They are learning fast but it has to make fun.
As a parent of a three year old that just got the switch for her on christmas this video is amazing, thank you !
Awesome to hear. If you have anymore questions just ask, it might give me a video idea.
Making him Mario Maker levels? Why did i never think of this??? Certified genius level content, THANK YOU.

My daughter with about 5 to 6 years old loved games like the paw patrol games, untitled goose game, a short hike, Minecraft, ...

I haven’t play Kirby Star Allie’s but I know Kirby games are known to be on the easy side, thanks for the suggestion.
Thank you for sharing. It’s tuff being a grandparent and knowing what to buy for the 3 year old
If you have anymore questions send them my way here to help.

Happy to help 🥔👍🏼
Very informative, I’m trying to compile a list of games for my 3 y/o to play without getting upset or needing a bunch of assistance.
Thanks

All great games, have fun gaming! 🥔👍
@@mrsuprpotato526 thanks man, I'm glad to know someone who likes those games.
One day when you get your son Kirby and the forgotten land, gotta give us an update on how he likes the actual final boss 😂
Will do
Thanks you so much for this . We definitely a gaming house but was so lost on where go next with are 6 years old they played all lego games
I am 13 years old and have no idea why i'm watching this, but somehow i watched it beginning to end.
Anyways, great video with some amazing choices!
im 30 lol
Thanks dude!
I have not played it yet (only the demo) but yoshi's crafted world is also pretty easy i think!

my dad gave me a swicth for all my fav games to play while im outsuide thanks dad i love you!
❤ thanks so nice
Best video ! valuable tips!!
Thanks allot
just bought an oled and i’m thinking about selling my switch to my sister so she can give it to my nephew and he’s 3
Nice recommendation for Spyro!
Most newer games will have something similar. You can research each game your interest in and see if the skill level is for you. Thanks for watching.

My Kid gets bored of the peppa pig game so fast, not a good recommendation
My mum bought me super Mario odyssey and it’s actually very good!
Its one of the best Switch games for sure!
@@mrsuprpotato526The hard part sadly is the darker side it took some time to complete did the same thing happened to your son?
Yeah its a little difficult for him but he’s getting way too good for his age.
All great recs! Thank you!
this guy gets IT! thank you for this video lol
I appreciate that.
Great video, thank you.
Have you made a video for kids 11-14? Im looking for games to play that aren’t that violent but still family friendly.

Pokémon will be fun too it was my childhood too bad he will never see red blue
I think animal crossing is a good one too!
There is a lot of reading involved. So if your little one can't read, it becomes frustrating fast.
Appreciate it..
Im looking for Gigantosaurus the game or Ice Age similar games. These games are crazy good for 2+ kids (y)
Look into Spyro the dragon, SpongeBob games or any Kirby games all of them are fairy easy and a ton of fun.

Can you share your level codes on mario maker? :)
Thanks for this. My 3 year old loves kirby but keeps dying 😅 I think I'll have him try Mario with assistance
Also try the demo for Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe, my son loves it and he’s only played the free demo.

It is fun to hear "daddy daddy, can you help me?" Every 30 seconds?
Nooooo - it is not to fun actually.
