Dear All, Kindly check out the below link for Structural Analysis and Design of RCC building using Staad.Pro software. In this course, all the basic concepts, and Lateral load Analysis(Response spectrum and wind load analysis) of a building as per IS-456, IS-875, IS-1893-2016, and detailing as per IS-13920 have been explained. www.udemy.com/course/staadpro-v8i-structural-analysis-design-of-a-rcc-building/?referralCode=C1CBC2B104EF72579338
We are using this method in my past jobs, this is fast and effective.Nowadays many softwares are born but yet,we are doubting the results beacause of unseen errors in analsyis,by doing this you can check your design and analysis and sleep well.😂😂😂
Mam your tutorials are too good💚💛mam i have one request to you can you please give us a tutorial about how to design a building manually by comparing the same model with staad pro.please mam.It will be very much useful for students and working professionals both🙏🙏
Could you please explain how you have decided the contributory area to each column in your AutoCAD drawing. The load calculation is straight forward (load from slab & wall to beam to column then foundation). Thank you!
Yes correct, but this is influence area method in which the slab load can be transferred to column by using the tributory area. Contributory area for each column can be decided by using center line of the columns.
Definitely these all tutorials are very helpful for students.keep it up mam👍👍.and make a more video on whole design of building from start to end with different geometry.Thank u

Load transfer mechanism is slab to beam, beam to column and column to foundation. Slab loads are area loads, we calculate per m^2. Wall and beam loads are uniformly distributed loads which is kN/m. Column loads are axial loads which is kN. Please refer the below link for more details. ruclips.net/video/AJG1Jix8NDk/видео.html
Here you have calculated one column load but simply multiplied.. Actually number of columns per and floor and number of stories then total load arrive..
Here we are calculating loads on individual column and some times loads coming on each floor may differ. So we have to calculate loads coming on each column and each floor. In this calculation we have calculated loads coming on each floor for individual column. only the self weight is multiplied by number of floors.
I cannot understand how we calculate wall load in per unit squ.area???! Why not per unit length kn/m???! If the slab to be designed is flat slab then ok its logical to take partition per unit area.

self weight of beam calculated as uniformly distributed load in kN/m.

No.Influence area concept is same for all the buildings.Only loading we need to consider according to the type of the building.

Sir matlab ki pehle hume assume karna padta he Column ki size jese 9'×18 , 12×18 etc
Right?
For larger span, load will more Column size will large. For smaller span it may be small.
