There were some cool ideas in there I was really curious of what would happen next. But I was kind of dissappointed they were all small bits of animations.
@@wu1ming9shi Yeah, a lot of those episodes provided interesting ideas and worlds and it would have been cool to see them built upon, but if they chose one and ran with it then we wouldn't have seen the other ideas, so I can't really complain.
"I wish there was a brush tool to repair more parts at once". * literally stares at the brush tool literally ONE button right of the defense buildings button :D *
Gotta be honest... kinda bugs me when I find amazing games like this and they're not out yet. I get SUPER motivated to buy them immediately, find out they aren't available until much later, add them to my immense Steam wishlist, then forget about them due to the ever-constant release of other games (many following the same promotional path).
i tend to purge my wishlist. keeping it below 100 games. I find that when I look at games about 2 months later, alot of them I'm just no longer interested in. Keeps the numbers down. Other than that, save and mark the season sale dates is the only advice i can give. spring sale, summer sale, autumn sale and winter sale are your friends. I just bought 10 games today. So thats 10 removed from my list.
The annoying new thing nowadays is that sometimes a game will be marked as not released yet on Steam, with a date around 2020, and yet many people speak about it in community discussion and other sites as if it was already released: that's because it actually is already released as an Epic Store exclusive ...
@@UnspecifiedHealer well, I believe that a game released on Steam will get many more sales than on Epic, but the attractive thing for devs is that Epic will pay them for the exclusivity deal a lot of money in advance based on expected future sales, and it's hard to refuse such an offer, I believe it's a much bigger incentive than the 12% vs 30%, especially for an indie dev company. In some way, it allows them to release an unpolished game on epic, and then have a full year to perfect it for the larger scale release on all other platforms :)
Do not feel bad about age lol. One of my first games (apart from ASCII based StarTrek on CP/M ) was 2d Castle Wolfenstein on an Apple II plus. 3 hrs to load from a tape cassette and resolution was 280 X 192 monochrome. So things have changed just a bit....
More of this game please. Loving the gameplay and it looks great too. Excellent combo of different genres. Nice to see it build on concepts and not just copy them.
I'd like to see more. This was just a little taste of what seems to be a VERY big meal. I want to see what kind of stuff is going on once you get that upgraded command center.
Actually Splatter cat the Mini-Vulcan (Minigun) was invented by a canadian arms manufacturer to make use of the U.S. surplus of 5mm Vulcan rounds for the Jet Fighter mounted guns during the Vietnam Conflict infantry use was to mow down brush to cut roads threw the dense jungles which would be stumped out & compacted by tanks the Minigun was not initially used for anti infantry or anti light vehical and use on humans was forbidden initially by the U.S. until the later part of the war.
I want to see what happens next episode, and what happens after you portal back home. Also, just wanted to say, I am loving this series. Already bought a few good games because of this channel. Reminds me of the old series "WTF is" from TB back in the day.
Years ago I commented on one of Splattie's videos, calling him the "King of indie games", to which he responded, and his response signaled confusion and uncertainty. But, it's true. Splattie is indeed the King of indie games.
This looked really good, but it's not out yet. I got all excited. It seems like it could definitely be worth of an early access, but I guess we'll wait and see. Hope you do more episodes of this.
Exosquad? Are you fuckin kidding me? I thought I was the only person who watched that show when I was little. I remember playing with the toys!! Omg her a badass.
My transhuman dream is a third arm. I just feel like I'd be so much more productive. Also, I could play games and pet my dog at the same time, which would be absolutely fantastic.
Reminds me of that one episode of Love, Death, and Robots on Netflix.
I loved that series. Like Black Mirror but not so depressing all the time.

SUITS?
@@pumacrawl8286 yup that's the one. iirc.

Lmao classic splattercat
Have had this on my wishlist for a while, completely forgot about it, nice to finally see it in action.
I used to watch Robotech on morning TV.
And Battletek years later on Sunday morning cartoons.
I played Mech Commander 1, 2. Enjoyed those games.
I loved Exo Squad as a kid!

@@VaalerianG Blame Steam for taking 30% of sales. Epic only takes 12%. Devs are highly motivated to get as many sales on Epic as they can first.

Game "You should upgrade your weapon"
Splat "Cool flamethrower - I don't need it"
Plasmagun *cries*
This almost reminds me of a lovechild of Total Annihilation and Tower Defense
Definately play a bit more of this. Would love to see more. Maybe also try to find out what it will include in terms of MP.
would love a second episode, seems there is more to the game to see. Thanks!
This looks pretty damn good.
the minigun feels like a movie from " The Matrix Revolutions " kinda satisfying for holding the line
"I've been a fan of mechs since Exo Squad"... Laughs in Battletech
Jason Youngblood and I chuckle along with you.
Okay but Exo Squad was a really good show though
*laughs in Supreme Commander*
-Laughs in Armored Core.
@@RewdAwakening Supreme commander and armored core are both way younger than Exosquad and Battletech
Please make more videos if u could, and thank u for taking the time out of ur life to create content for us. Thank u! Keep up the good work!
"we are all repaired up over here" with a few walls still burning on screen.... yup all fixed up..
This game looks amazing! The only downside is we can't play it now lol

Dude, just last week I was talking about Exo Squad at work and no else was old enough to have been alive when it was airing. I felt super old.
Whats up? Everyone references BattleTech and Gundam, but Splatty bringing out the Exo Squard? Hell yeah.
More of this game please. Loving the gameplay and it looks great too. Excellent combo of different genres. Nice to see it build on concepts and not just copy them.
Splat you get your hands on all the good games and me wanting all of them.

All I can hear when the mech speaks is "We need additional pylons!"
I'd like to see more. This was just a little taste of what seems to be a VERY big meal. I want to see what kind of stuff is going on once you get that upgraded command center.

The Total Annihilation freak in me loves this!
Cool game bro would like to see more of it on the channel.
Watching Splatt place gates that clearly aren't connected gave me a tumor.
So many streamers are just bad at games and have zero common sense lol
Liked for the EXO Squad reference.

Yes more of this please!
I'd love to see more of this, since we can't even purchase the game in Early Access (cough)
Ditto on that. Was pretty disappointed to see it was unavailable.
