- This geometry video provides a basic introduction into triangles. It explains how to calculate the measure of an interior angle of a triangle as well as the exterior angle. The sum of all three interior angles is 180. The exterior angle is the sum of the two remote interior angles according to the exterior angle theorem. In addition, this video explains how to calculate the length of the midsegment of a triangle. It contains plenty of examples and practice problems.

I'm looking forward to taking the isee, however, I never was taught geometry at school, and the little I was taught, didnt learn because I didnt care about school until 3 months ago, so im re-learning algebra 1 and learning geometry, im currently taking algebra 2 and looking forward to taught myself pre calc and calc before my school even gives me those subjects, hopefully I do well on the exam!

Ok so I need help for this problem. My paper says “find the value of each variable” it is an isosceles triangle. Length C and A are equivalent. Length C is (9x -25) length b, the top, is 104. How would I solve this?????

Hey dude. In Turkey, even the lowest level student can understand this explanation. Turkey's education system is very difficult, we saw these questions in the 5th grade, I think they are given in high school too. Ah, if only our subjects were this easy.

16:33 stop right there. FEBD is a quadrilateral with two angles known (90 degrees defined by the altitude), one already calculated (from the larger triangle) and only one unknown, which turns out to be 110 degrees. This is equal to its opposite angle F at the crossing point of the altitudes.

At 12:30 where you solve z, why don't you just imagine it as if they're a whole triangle? (180-30-90=z) instead of using that formula?

I have a question where did you get the 2 for the hk in no.7
2 is multiplied to both sides to cancel the fraction 1/2. DF remains on the right hand side while on the left hand side, HK is multiplied to 2 so the equation will be DF = 2HK (hope this helps)
