      Yes! Sure, there from old videos, but I actually prefer that over the whole video. The beginning of the "BITTEN by a GIANT DESSERT CENTIPEDE" up to when you get bitten, please. Now you don't have to cut the whole beginning out. I just want to see it up until the bite. Thank you!

    Being from Pennsylvania I’ve had my fair share of encounters with giant wolf spiders. This one time me and my friend were moving dock pieces into the lake at his campground about a month before June. Every single pallet we moved into the water would follow hundreds of wolf spiders of all varieties sweeping through the cracks. As a arachnophobic I definitely shit my pants.

      Ah yes reminds of when I was playing during recess in elementary school and played in some taller grass that was barred off. That didn't stop me from entering, and it was a steep slope. However, when I looked down in the grass while I was trying to climb back up, I just saw hundreds of wolf spiders running around under the grass freaking out. In turn, I'm like ok stay calm long enough to get out of here, then I can freak out and be traumatized for life. Definitely never went back in that area again. I'm terrified of spiders, and being surrounded by them definitely gave me a reason to trigger my fight or flight response that day. I hate how terrifyingly big they can get, too. I once saw one the size of a dinner plate just hanging out on a bucket. Thanks, Pennsylvania, for breeding such terrifying creatures. I know these guys don't compare to Australia, but the fact they can get bigger than that I might as while just stay as far away as possible.

    Ok. The first spider is some kind of Argiope, so an orb weaver, not a "crab spider." The second, honestly can't tell, but I guarantee it's no wolf spider. As for the third, big one, lol that's a Phoneutria - the Brazilian wandering spider. Again, not a wolfie. If you got your hand a little closer, you were up for a very bad time.

    • @josesaenz5628
      @josesaenz5628 10 месяцев назад +1

      The 3rd big one is a cupiennius coccinnius. It's a type of wandering spider outside of genus phoneutria but closely related with less toxic venom.

    As an arachnologist... a few words... First, this was not a crab spider (Thomisidae, the whole thing about the name is wrong), but a species of Argiope, a whole other family. The two other ID provided are ALSO WRONG. The second is more likely a mal Ctenidae (the large front eye of a Lycosid are not visible), and the third is a female Phoneutria, 100£ not a wolf spiders... Please please take a few minutes to check your identifications seriously. Secondly, and most important : NO SPIDERS ARE AGGRESSIVE. Humans are not preys to spiders, so their response to your presence is being DEFENSIVE. I never expect much from these type of videos, but I'm extremely disapointed in this spreading of disinformation. It's the last thing these animals need.

    Looks more like the common Orb and Wood spiders here in Ky but what do I know? 🤷‍♂ And these are in no way "big" I have seen actual wolf spiders here that are at least 6 to 8" in diameter, the need for coffee after catching one of those and sending it on it's way back out of the front door first thing in the morning is no longer required.
