Chopin's "Paganini" Etude! THIS is how to play this Etude - amazing how there is a world of difference between those that play this etude well and the very few who have the poetry and artistic vision to realize what Chopin implies in these miniatures. This performance clearly shows Dang Thai Son is in the latter category.
woogie-boogie,you are full of it,look at the time difference between these two pianists, besides this is an etude,so he plays it as he see fit,as long as it is kept as an integral artistic performance, which it is,so what the fuck is your problem sir?!
HOW COULD HE PLAY THIS ETUDE IN THIS TEMPO OMGGGG
This is the normal tempo wym
@@AsrielKujo most people slow it down by quite a bit lol. original tempo markings for many of the chopin etudes are just insane, including this one.
I know right xD
@@moomoo7437 yeah
@@AsrielKujo It's not; the Paderewski edition says 120 bpm. He is playing roughly twice that speed.

Opening tempo is the fastest I've heard this played so far.
wow, that's how this etude should be played
indeed!
Not too fast or too slow
The best version of this etude!Just Wonderful!!
he looks so relaxed yet he sounds so good
Wow his tempo jumps like crazy!
The fastest performance of this piece ever with not a single wrong note
Amazing! It sounds so easy, even though it's definitely not easy!
this is like la campanella for left hand!
Daniel Che It's actually only mostly a stretch of a tenth in the L.H.(from pinky to thumb) but still, pretty hard.
true
@@AA-fs7xl but still, you have to keep it like that for the whole piece, so you have to try to relax the tension
Dang Thai Son is a genius. Period.
I like his playing a lot but this is the first piece where I felt he was a standout in all respects. A really stellar performance
the best version~~~
단단한데 부드러운 느낌..너무 좋네요ㅜㅠ
Bravo! Excellent execution!
Best performance of this study!!
He looks like so relax. I want to play this etude like him.
noone plays like him on earth never ever..
Erdene Batbileg and nehring did
I just heard but, I don't think so.
szymon nehring played it faster
Because Nehring has bigger hands, i think that :)) Mr.Dang, his left hand was "dancing", incredible.
@@sungbin7321 but not flawless
and his student also won the chopin competition
This is the guy who won chopin competition when Pogolierich did not make the finals......well, He won well, sorry pogolierich.
Luis González pogo still deserved to make finals tho
Sure, this is unbelievably good. But Pogorelich was Pogorelich.
どうやったらこんな速く弾けるんだ…
Best version I know
I wish this video showed his left hand more... it looks like he has his left wrist pretty low?
I think it's more his left shoulder and elbow he keeps low to avoid any tension in his wrist?
Just bravooooooo! 😄
İnanılmaz, hala en iyi yorum bu diyebilirim.
Bravo! Super!
Brawo !!!
...... Hahaha! Me speechless.

なんかすごい😮
와........
What a tempo???
Speed
Se equivocó en la casilla 37
impossible
That was the worst bow I've ever seen...
No, no, no. Way to fast. So many of the technically adroit youngsters can manage everything except the soul, the spirit. Listen to Rubenstein.

Ah yes maestro. do tell us how to play the etude
