You are the ONLY person who talks about that first stitch getting too tight and how to fix it. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!! I have literally watched every magic loop video hoping someone would show how to prevent that. When I move my stitches back on to the needle that stitch is ALWAYS too tight and I have to struggle getting on the needle, but nobody else I’ve watched has that issue, so I keep wondering what I’m doing wrong. I literally just starting learning magic loop two days ago and wanted to give up several times, but I know if I can correct this it will be so much more fun. New sub here for sure!!
I’m an old knitter and have done many different knitting methods, but not this ‘magic loop’. So, after watching several videos and getting frustrated because I couldn’t quite get it, that is until yours👍🏻😊. So simple, I got it on the first try, because your simple explanation cleared my whatever hurdle and know I can move onto those fingerless gloves I’ve been wanting to knit with magic loop. Thank you, so much☺️🇨🇦❗️
I watched several magic loop videos and yours was by far the easiest to understand! Thank you for your willingness to help! You are a wonderful teacher!
Thank you. I followed along as i made yet another attempt at magic loop and I have actually got the hang of it I think. Nice and clear and slow pace. Just what I needed. Thanks.
thank you so much, I really need this magic. Only people who really need this magic will feel thankful. Feeling good because I have just learned a new skill. You have a beautiful voice!!!!
Thank you so much for your time and a very precise und understandable way to handle the matter " Magic Loop ". You have a very nice and even voice, some people make me want to scream!!
Wow,these were my mistakes,my panic moments too. This video is an excellent tutorial of Magic loop especially with the few stitches being used. Thank You !
Im a beginner at mittens and every pattern i found had the "magic loop" technique as part of it. Every other video out there made the damn thing so complicated and then I found your video. It made it soo much more simpler for me to retry knitting my mittens!
hi knitting help, when I do magic loop method, my stitches that are on the cable, when I come to put them back on the needle to knit them, they are too tight, they won't slide onto the needle, what am I doing wrong
If your cable is too stiff, wouldn’t it also work to slip half the stitches into a stitch holder (or random-diameter needle, or a chopstick, or whatever you have handy), then move the remainder into the middle of the cable, and slip the other half back onto the appropriate needle?
Jasper Janssen my cable is too stiff also and gets in my way. I bought the loops and threads number 2, 29 inch needles and I’m wishing that the cable was not so stiff between the needles. I get the idea of magic loop but seeing it be done and actually trying it with those needles is not quite working LOL. I never would have thought about using a stitch holder, though. So I second Jasper’s question since I am new and want to learn. Thanks!

Awesome video
Awesome! Thank you very much
I was wondering if I can do knit 2, and purl 2, using this method ?
Doggybark Cc yes u can
I think you need to put your needles in boiling water for a couple of mins. Makes magicloop somuch easier
I can knit a lot faster with double pointed needles. Much less fuss.
What kind of knitting is that. Ppl who don't knit have zero idea what you are doing since yarn can be knit from the right or the left
Why is she mumbling?
sorry but you take toooo long in your explanation especially in the beginning
video is confusing and rather painful to watch.
