The "familiar" is called "Knock" in Nosferatu. "Renfield" in Dracula. Same person.

I think it was a great first trailer. Didn’t reveal too much, while setting a great tone. That dude eating the bird was a bit much lol
We are pretty hyped to see it!
If you watch the original movie, which I haven't either, then you need to watch Shadow of a Vampire, if you haven't. It's the fictional telling of the making of the original Nosferatu with William Dafoe playing Max Schreck(the actor who played the vampire in Nosferatu). The spin of the movie is that Max Schreck, who plays Count Orlock, really was a vampire. It's not a comedy either, they play it straight. It's a great movie! I have however seen the 1979 remake with Klaus KInski a few times. It's an okay movie, the production and sets are fantastic to look at, it's just not a scary/eerie movie.
Will definitely have to check it out, thanks for the recommendation!
