THREE THINGS TO UNDERSTAND ABOUT WINNING THE WAR FOR OUR MINDS
1. Understanding the Mind as the Main Battlefield of Good
and Evil
2 Corinthians 10:3-5
“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For
the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down
strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself
against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the
obedience of Christ…”
2. Understanding the Word of God as a Spiritual Weapon
Ephesians 6:10-17
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put
on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of
the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against
principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age,
against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take
up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day,
and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with
truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your
feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of
faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked
one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the
word of God;
Hebrews 4:12-13
For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged
sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and
marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. And there
is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the
eyes of Him to whom we must give account.
3. Understanding Biblical Meditation as Spiritual Warfare
Psalm 1:1-3
Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in
the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; but his delight is in the
law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a
tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season,
whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.
Deuteronomy 6:6-9
And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall
teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in
your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise
up. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets
between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and
on your gates.

Decision
When those thoughts come , make them obedient to Christ and what He has already completed. for example Yeah , I did it , but I am covered by the blood of Christ, His finished work has set me free from the law of sin and death. this was old covenant information.
In the new covenant the devil has been cast into the lake of fire. The devil does not exist in our world today. Evil today comes from mans heart, If you are in the flesh you cannot please God.
Jimmy , you have probably thought about having sex with something today. I know I have, that is the way our creator made us.

20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,
Our actions have never saved us, even from the beginning, not by following any law, only the blood of Christ has made us righteous, from Adam to you.
Abraham lied when He said Sarah was his sister, but He was righteous by faith.
You say you were instantly healed from lust? why would you say that? you have been freed from the penalty, and that freedom was bought with a price.
Romans 8:9-10 (KJV 1900)
9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. 10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
By Jimmy saying the Devil is here, he preaches fear, Christ has replaced his dominion, which was this earth. I have been given His righteousness already and I have had it for 40 years from when I first believed.
The Law , including lust, murder, lying, envying and the one I am most thankful for, both ways, children not honoring their parents, have already been set free by the blood of Christ. To say it hasn't or that you can follow all the law is another nail through His hand.
