this crowd: are a lot of musicians, choral singers, music students, classical / jazz / acapella fans, songwriter and music professionals. emperor of mic is a part of the vocaltotal festival. So there are people in the audience who know a lot of music. This is also a difference to other battels. For the beatboxer it is a very great challenge to performe in front of such a specialized audience. In the interviews with the Beatboxers - they confirm this unique and positiv interesting atmosphere.
I think Babeli hands down. That bass, and although he is a little quieter, he's more entertaining to listen to. It flows better.

Its a shame the mic didn't pic up Babeli's set better starting at 4:06, its such a good piece and sounded so weak
you're right in that respect. His beats are so neat, clean and organized, that there aren't very many beatboxers who can do the same as him. He has clean transitions as well, but i think ballzee deserved to win
swag, or swagged out can mean many different things depending on who is making the statement, to my understanding he is saying it is the more stylish / trendy side of beatboxing. I personally love the bass in these techniques.
bass is never too high! If it's too high for you just turn the volume down :P.

@davidglassesG the world champs are not organized by us. We are the Emperor of Mic Organization. The Videos of Empofmic channel 2010/2011 are only videos for our archiv. therefore you hear there only the cam Mic . Empofmic 2012 is a new production. This year it was in our hand to handle the TV production. The sound 2012 was made by the soundengineer of the flying pickets - and I think he knew what to do.
Return it and you will get all the love you deserve.

Even though im a hard core ball zee fan, but I have to say...babeli killed it.
maybe the battle was recorded in a low volume i or they just didn't turn up the mics very loudly cause i can barely hear them and these guys are the most powerful around

creation is the sounds that come from ones mouth unless you can make then all, then you are the bomb like tic tic, other than that this is talent. not many people have.

i don't want a huge argument on whether or not they do, but if babeli did more beats like his round with krnfx, then he would have had a better chance. speed is a factor because if you do all your beats slow, they can be as clean as you want, but if you do them faster it takes more skill in order to keep them clean
thats so fuking true to your second question. one sound can already make a simple beat and 2 sounds can make complex variations.
Two of the best beat boxers in the world. anyone saying other wise is a complete Justin bieber fan. Go listen that and stop hating!

still very good, but I think it's just the different bass he is using, breathing and his bass, so that is why, I really like it though.

Agrees with bill Rogers
But, the genres that he was doing didn't really need that much speed. Dubstep is around 140 bpm. Hes paying attention to the genres/music, so he didn't really speed it up. It not all about the speed, he threw in some triples and rolls but, that didn't really make a difference. I actually thought Babeli should've won because of his organization.

Um yeah adding new sounds to a original beat does change it... This is music and it doesn't look like they are running out of ideas anytime soon. If you think you are so good go and battle.
