Great build Jason I'm glad you can get back together without destroying it but I had my coffee this morning I'm watching the show I will drink a cup for you watching why I'm watching it
Very cool builds Jason. Thanks for sharing. I had a very similar thing happen around 1990, after just finishing a monster truck build. I was carrying it over to the display case, and lost it. It hit the cement basement floor, and went into many, many pieces. I was so furious, I gathered up all the pieces, put it in a paper bag, and that's where it remained for roughly 27 years. I finally got it out and reassembled it in 2017, after I moved into my new apartment. Amazingly enough, there were no broken parts, they had all just broken free from the truck. Only lost one driving light cover off the roll bar through the ordeal, so I got lucky.
Another great video!! I hate it when my hand overrides my brain!! I built that kit way back in the day! I've got that 'tin' set and the re-pop kit that recently came out in my stash.
Jason buddy , You have to remember to tighten the lug nuts 😅. J/K Nice builds, it sucks that it slipped out your hand. But it's happens. I have some wire I got from MCV I wanted to try running break and fuel lines . Thanks for sharing
love the cars. i think it would be cool to see some pictures of your cousins drag cars. i spent a lot of time in the pits in the 70s and 80s with my older brother helping on a vega and then a chevy monza in the competetion eleminator class. both cars were e gas cars
The Model Cars and Coffee goes back to the 1:1 cars and their Morning Cars and Coffee events. I am sure Paul is very familiar with those being a car guy. The events are done all across the country, usually Sat or Sunday morning, once a month, and are free to the public to walk through. There is probably one near you Jason. My closest one is in West Palm Beach, and I am sure they average well over 1000+ cars easily. I've seen just about everything there, from a Porsche race car team hauler and cars to a Batmobile. One thing that is good about them is you can all the reference photos you want ! 🙂 That's pretty cool you were adding wires and fuel lines even on your early builds ! 👍
Yup I r been to a few! I used to have a lowered 2 generation VW Jetta that we would bring, and the Jeep of course! The engine detail on these older kits definitely pale in comparison to what they are today, and could be in the future. It’s fun looking back for sure!
That is true, thats the reason I started doing Friday Morning Model Cars and Coffee a couple years ago....just a reason to show some of my built models copying the phrase used by the real car guys. Didn't even think about involving the community but luckily Paul was smart enough to get the whole community in on it. Very COOL 😎
Oooo! I remember when that came out. One of those I wanted, but did not get around to bringing one home. Not that $50 was an unreasonable price for what you were getting, it just made an impulse buy a little too impulsive. They both look great. That chute cord is a neat detail.
Well now I feel like an A** for replacing the coffee🤦. Nice builds by the way. Glad you saved the fallen one unlike a certain GTO we will leave unnamed. Lol
Love the old school drag race cars. Nice looking builds, off track incident aside. You apparently didn't pay attention to Chuck during his hacky sack class. Thank goodness, otherwise that Fiat would've been a total loss!
I love these builds Jason, thanks for sharing them with us.
Nice builds Jason. Thanks for sharing.
Tom S.
I definitely have to keep an eye out for that kit, and you know you can always put your energy drink in a coffee cup
Great looking builds Jason, love the old drag cars! Glad you were able to repair tha damage! ☕️😎👍
Cool pair of dragsters!

Nice old builds 😎 😁

I love that your videos are real!
IMHO that is one of the best kits ever produced by AMT. You did a great job on both cars!
Thanks, I appreciate that!

Cool builds! Kind of ironic putting a Hemi in a Fiat. Too bad it decided to do a Chucky buster. LOL. Thanks for sharing.

Great video, Jason!!! Yeah, find that wheel, or Jonsey will hide it on you (lol)!!! We are expecting a major snow storm today in Pa. Enjoy your week.
He is always on the lookout for something new to play with! 😂
Unwheel!🤣I dropped my buddies Saturday Night Short Track GB🤣

That is a cool kit and your builds are cool as well. I really need to build mine, I wish I had the tin box version though!
It's a great kit, you're going to love it!

Chuck's revenge for all the flak he's been getting from you guys about his GTO 😆
Cool builds Jason.
