This would be more cost effective only worry is if it could work as good as motor driver one or equivalent to it

@skynet-robotics sir the project is working but the motors speed is very fast and that y the robot is unable to turn and it goes out off track can you please help sir. i think that the motor is getting too much voltage(i am using 1 3.7 volt li-ion battery )should i use a resistor or a diode to limit the voltage

I am in Sri Lanka ,I made this but somtimes it works and somtimes the left motor is not working and somtimes left motor is working , and I used two TCRT5000 ir sensors , can you discribe this matter?😥

Yes it will work but you have to connect wire to NC port instade of NO on relay

Sir my robot is not working. When I turn on the robot , the wheels are not rotating, and the green light on the 5v relay is glowing but it is dimming after few seconds and the in and out LED on the sensor also

Why did we use a 3.7V battery?
We are not using any voltage regulator .
IR sensor need approximately 5V thats why
Otherwise you can use two batteries 7.4 V

Hello, can you explain how it stops when detecting an edge?
When ir sensor not detecting edge it gives 1 signal to relay
And when relay recive signal as 1 (high) it disconnect motor connection
