Yes they are very cute I love them, but not for a in door pet, I have hedgehogs in my garden and they are very happy living that way, I also look after them with food and water, they love the natural living things in the Garden

One winter years ago my dog dug out a hedgehog, waking it from it's winter sleep in the snow, so I had to take him home, otherwise he would have died. He was SO cute and nice! I called him 'Nuncle', and he lived in the house with us for the rest of the winter. In springtime I put him back where he was found.
We all loved that silly little being, including our dog and our cat! < 3
Only my father didn't like him as much... Turned out Nuncle always "attacked" my fathers bare toes when he went to the bathroom at night! LOL
