No sir nothing like that only direction mentioned in OM is that it should be booked atleast 21 days prior to travel date
Like Kolkata to Andaman only flight charges will be paid by govt or local travelling (road) expenses also
If u mention port blair as ur destination city then u will only get flight charges, if u mention some island lets say neil island in andaman as ur destination then govt will also give u travel boat charges to neil island to and fro but the boat u r taking should be government boat only otherwise no reimbursement of this sea travel wd be approved.

Abhi portblair to havelock & neils ka govt ferry ticket online booking suru ho gaya hai. Isme PSF (passenger service fee) 50 rupees extra charge kia jata hai. Kya psf reimbursable hai in LTC.

Is ltc still relevant now when train connectivity is almost everywhere?
I work in private sector. My employer provides me LTC eligibility however due to busy schedule and other challenges could not declare the travel details and LTC to my employer in time. Question is in this situation can I directly show the LTC deduction in ITR and keep he journey tickets/proofs handy.

Sir, first I am not an expert on this subject and dont have exact knowledge about it, So please take my reply as my own opinion not a fact. As per my knowledge LTC is considered a facility or service only when provided by employer and for that you can claim deductions but if there is no authorization from employer than it might not come under the purview of LTC itself. If permission has already been granted by employer for ur LTC trip then you can ask for deductions in ITR
Train ticket book karne ke liye bhi Govt email id se IRCTC account banana mandatory hai kya?
Nai train ap jaha se chaho waha se book kr skte ho even 3rd party apps like mmt, goibibo but usme jo conveniance charges lgte hai 100, 200 ka wo reimburse nai hoga.

Agar apka 8 years complete ho chuka hai to in 4 years Ap 2 HTC le skte one in each block of 2 yrs
OR 2nd option Ap kisi ek 2yr block me HTC le skte ho and All Inida LTC in other 2 yr block
So basically u will get either 2 HTC in 4 yrs OR 1 HTC and One LTC in 4 yrs joki 2nd HTC ke conversion pe milega

2. The fare of 3 Rd AC in cheapest train running that day?
3rd AC fare of the train with the shortest and cheapest route between the HQ and destination will be reimbursed.

Yes, now u can get normal benefits of LTC as explained in video 2 Hometown LTC in a block of 4 yrs and u can convert one home town LTC into All India LTC once in 4 yrs.

As far as I have seen, for fresh recruiters they may avail facility of converting 1 of 3 home town LTC to North East, J&K , A&N Island...and 4th year all india LTC... So basically in 4 year they have 2 HTC and 2 for visiting these places

Hi sir. I am travelling from Bangalore to Amritsar and office said they will reimburse max of 2AC fare coz i am Level -6. There are no direct trains for me from Bangalore. So if i choose to travel by flight, how would the 2AC fare be calculated since there aren't any direct trains.
They would calculate the shortest and cheapest fare possible with connecting trains and the fare of 2Ac class in those trains added together.
But make sure u book flights through the permitted 3 travel agencies IRCTC, Ashok Travels and Balmer Lawrie.

I made the booking through Balmer and Lawrie as govt employee but however I missed the flight and I had to book (asked by airlines official) another flight at the airport with same pnr number but had to pay the nearly same amount again. I just want to ask, which amount I will get reimbursed. Will I get both the booking amount reimbursed or only one of them? Please reply
The one for which u got boarding pass and boarded the plane should be reimbursed provided u can present the screenshot of the of the webpage at the time of booking the flight as it is mandatory to give proof that u have travelled in the flight having the cheapest fare in the selected time slot.

Han rule sahi hai but government public use transport honi chaiye, ye prove krna bht muskil hoga. Kyonki taxi bhale hi union ki ho but government transport me ki jayegi ya nai iske liye supporting documents bhi submit krne padenge. So agar aisa prove kr skte hai to fir mil skta hai but usually jitne log LTC me leh ladakh spiti ho aye hai office me unko local tour ya taxi ka nai mil pata hai. Like Andaman me bhi apko neil ya havelok jane ke liye government ferry hi use krni pdti hai, private ferries use krne se reimbursement nai milta.
But agar ap effort aur research krke kahi se in written prove kr skte ho ki those taxis in ladakh r only means of transport available and authorized by govt as public govt transport tb mil skti hai reimbursement.

First ask him to enquire in his admin office about the LTC rules and procedure in LIC as its now a PSU so rules and other concessions maybe different from Central govt offices after that if rules are the same u can just apply for LTC and mention details in LTC form and ask for advance with application in office.

No, if u do u will not get reimbursement of air fare according to rule but since there cant be any train to Lakshadweep , according to rule u have to travel to the nearest location via train and from there u can avail the cheapeast available meams of transport to lakshadweep.

Sir mujhe all india ltc me jammu jana hai mgr mere station se jammu k liye direct train sirf tuesday and wednesday ko hi chalti hai .jane ka ticket maine tuesday ko kiya hai mgr wapus aane ka ticket sunday ko amritsarbme journey break kar k kiya hai.
