It's freaking 2019 and this is still one of my FAVOURITE sketches ever. It just so perfectly captures the experience of watching a Damon Lindelof "project". Great job, guys!

They had a streak of crap videos, but their last two or three have been pretty good
I think it started off as legitimate criticism but now has turned more into a joke. The creators have even recognized it at the end of one of the videos.

Writing incoherent TV shows that fall apart under their own incoherent plot threads is not something to be proud of. Neither was that mess that was Prometheus. Yes! I'm still bitter about both!

Snobby Gamer There's a difference between enjoying something and insisting its great. The expendables are enjoyable, are they well written? No. Doesn't matter. The reason people hate this guy specifically is because his fans insist that he's a genius and its all masterful writing when it isn't.
How can it be masterful writing. Anyone can throw random stuff together and then have it make no coherent sense at the end.
Almost 45 minutes of Prometheus was cut out of the film.

I haven't watched Lost but the unknown in The Leftovers was the point. The show wasn't about the departure but about the hopelessness and uncertainty it causes. If they had given an explanation for it then they would ruin the show

This was so similar to a Jake and Amir episode, it was really funny :D. They should a make series with these guys and call it Damon and Mike :)
I just thought a better story line: the eye patch guy was "trapp's" guide, and would sometimes appear with a new answer to a secret puzzle. 84 or whatever was a code to open the box with the mirror and inside the box was another clue, and part of his lunch. This kept going on with more puzzles and clues and lunch until all the food parts were together and he could finally enjoy his lunch.

Prometheus was a great movie that gave alot of insight into the alien universe. Finally explains to us who the engineers are and their purpose.
Bad news, heard Tomorrowland suffers the same fucking shitty payoff issues at the end. Even Brad Bird couldn't save it from being a turd. Also its an issue when other filmmakers start doing that same shit. The whole world praises Les Revenants but that French show has the same bloody issues as if its written by Lindelof.

Actually, I think a lot of the movies Damon worked on were going to be great before he got involved.
