That's the way I plan too! I have all my math lessons on Google Slides, so this year, planning is a breeze. I also have all my Reading Literature and Informational lessons and study guides created as well. It takes time, but once they are done, it makes you feel really organized. I like to know what I'm going to do one week ahead :) That way, whenever there are changes, and there are always changes in schedule, I don't feel as overwhelmed.
I am not a teacher but the reason I love you and your channel are your routines. I love the state of the union concept and I love the regular movie nights. Sometimes I wish I had more structure in my life. I would be really interested in a video kind of going over routines you set yourself in or out of the classroom.

I read somewhere that Ritas will be opening a few shops in Austin!! There is a similar shop from Philly, Jim Jim’s Water Ice in Austin. Just FYI 😁 Also, great job at trying to find that work/life balance. I know Sometimes it is hard to do.
Boundaries: I’m curious about how you make sure you have healthy boundaries to avoid teacher burnout (eg. Many teachers clock out of their paid jobs and are expected to “volunteer” to fulfill expectations that they are NOT paid for).

I was also wondering if you had figured out a way to display just the part you want on The First Five?
