Thank you your video explained what it is and unlike what most people are saying you told us what it is that is what this video was for not to print it you said that in the beginning I at least know what it is. Thanks for video
Thank you for your videos. How do you make the rub-on transfers (like the IOD transfers but I'd like to use my own artwork)? Is this the printer needed for that?
You can not make UV DTF wraps (which are cutless, weedless transfers) with an ecosolvent printer. But you can do something like this as an alternative with vinyl ruclips.net/video/TS5QQKFI1ac/видео.html
Do you have a video showing a “normal” printer using the uvdtf film? My printer is an inkjet printer but I can’t seem to find someone talking about using a “normal” printer printing on the film. I hope this makes sense.
Hi! :) So these don't get curated at all once applied to the mugs? They're just glued on? How long do these last? I'm specifically wondering how well these would do after being washed in a dishwasher... thanks :)
They have an extremely strong adhesive. The one much you see in this video with the pink and teal sticker I had in my dishwasher for at least a month straight - never took it out and it is exactly the same as the day I applied it.
Its interesting, but as a small workwear and signage print/embroiderer I don't see enough uses for it apart from mugs and glass. I stopped doing sublimation years ago due to costs and faff. I have a Roland print n cut system, regular DTF machines etc. The investment this needs... hmmm
White Toner users toner instead of ink. Toner is powder. UV DTF uses UV ink that is cured by a UV light making it extremely durable. White Toner transfers, especially on hard goos are not nearly as durrable. That's one big difference but definitely not the only
There are ways to print these yourself at home, but the UV DTF Printers needed are very expensive and challenging to maintain so if you're not not up for that I'm suggesting buying the transfers instead.
This video is only explaining what they are. Most people, at this point, do not have a UV DTF printer and would only be purchasing the transfers. As I mentioned, a lot more videos to come including how to print them on your own.
all this uv dtf printing is nice but it is in fact total garbage. i tried that like 2 years ago. and it theoreticly works . you have a sheet you print on it with the uv printer apply the b film and put it on an object . and you see all those fance movies where it wont scratch off . well i can tell you it comes off realy easy. so its just useless. and i printed it on an lef2-200 so the printer is not the problem .
I have to say I disagree. I have one that I have kept in the dishwasher for months and it is still totally fine. The technology is advancing rapidly so it's come a long way in two years. You might give it another try.

Thank you for the detailed video. Are the tumblers rubber-coated? If not, would the same method work on rubber-coated tumblers?

How long does the white head last?

What printer are you using for the UV printing?
I did not print these myself :)
So what printer do you use?
Is it permanent ? Can I wash cups in dishwasher after applying it?
Thank you
Yes, I've had this mug in my dishwasher continuously (runs daily) since doing this video with no issues at all.
@@SilhouetteSchool Thank you so much
Is it microwave safe? Do we need to include California prop 65 warning to end users?
You can wash it but not dip whole night , its waterproof
Dear Melissa.
The UV DTF stickers does works on powder coated tumbler too?
Thank you for you reply. :)
Sure do!
So what is the difference between uv and white toner?
White Toner users toner instead of ink. Toner is powder. UV DTF uses UV ink that is cured by a UV light making it extremely durable. White Toner transfers, especially on hard goos are not nearly as durrable. That's one big difference but definitely not the only
@@SilhouetteSchool thank u!
What type of printer is used? I want to but one
A UV DTF Printer. Something like this one shrsl.com/4ilz5
How about the durability ? I may comparing screen print on a fabric and UV DTF on a fabric
UV DTF is not meant for fabric and will not be durable on garments.
I don’t understand what you said about doing it at home. Why couldn’t I?
There are ways to print these yourself at home, but the UV DTF Printers needed are very expensive and challenging to maintain so if you're not not up for that I'm suggesting buying the transfers instead.
Okay But You Didnt Show Us How To Print It Out, The Materials, None If That. Smh
