- After watching Capcom’s presentation for Sunbreak.
They’ve announced one of the most requested monsters to return on Sunbreak, Daimyo Hermitaur.
I hope you’re as excited as I am. I’ll be sharing with you what you can expect from Daimyo Hermitaur on Sunbreak based on the old generation.

Heres whats special, if you dont have high defence (to get 2-3 shoted) instead of one) and able to cancel burn, poison, and eletricity(dont remember the name) your gonna cart 3 Times in the first 5 mins

I don't think he gets enough credit for being a cool monster. It needed to be less predictable but it was a very fun fight.
One of my favorites. There’s little I love more than seeing all these classic monsters coming back to us in the modern day.
The Daimyo Hermitaur was the first monster I couldn't beat despite my best efforts in MHFU.
I used to overdose on copium while fighting it, inventing bullcrap excuses like "How the F can a crab walk straight? They're supposed to walk sideways!" 😂
It's now my most hunted monster in the game, the first monster I've made an armor out of, and my first choice when I need money by selling monster components.
I really hope the crustaceans' presence may lead to the inclusion of Gravios and Monoblos in Sunbreak
I had to make a comment to help your pronunciation. Daimyo is a Japanese word and is pronounced die-me-oh.
A daimyo was a fuedal lord of Japan who were vassals of the shogun, hence there being a shogun version in the games. Good video!
I hope the rampage weapons get upgrades in some way, I really want to use the Daimyo Hermitaur HBG as layered

I hope one day they release a new crustacean monster. Something like a lobster with tremendous strength or a monster based on the Fiddler Crab (except you make the abnormal claw shoot out an element) would be really cool.
Or bring back the forgotten crustacean Shen Gaoren..
I've always felt the pistol shrimp would be a fantastic inspiration, likely a blast-ailment creature launching concussive blasts from explosive pincers, or a boxer crab concept that loads its limbs with various symbiotic fauna to use different effects. Crustaceans have so much to offer in ways of potential monsters

I did bro. Because the Daimyo uses Monoblos skull as a shell so its a hint that it may return in sunbreak and for Gravios , well there is Basarios for hope for its return.

GU weapons are special though that they made all weapons almost viable to use for end game even for the early monsters and joke weapons... Rise still had weapons hanging at 150 or 130 as their final forms.
You mean the Rampage weapons? If Rampage Quests had remained a thing in Master Rank, they might have gotten such upgrades.

@@Ticomon egg quests in older games would block off certain pathways with boulders as you progressed to force you to take longer routes back to camp

It's pronounced "Die-myo" :P
That said I really hope they did a lot of work with its moveset, as I found his fight dull and annoying in previous games. There's at least that new jumping claw attack that looks kinda interesting

Shen Gaoren? Ironically, I prefer hunting that crab over Lao (except GU version of Lao). If it does return, hopefully they update the movesets as some players find it quite boring to hunt.

I've always found Shogun to be tougher than Daimyo
There's a reason why Shogun is mostly a rank 4 monster meanwhile Daimyo is only 3
well Daimyo plays a lot slower and more defensive while Shogun is more aggressive, although having experienced Daimyo in Rise... someone most have given him crack because he's insanesly aggressive and fast now.

We've had Daimyo Hemritaur without Monoblos so it's questionable, we also have small monsters without the big one.
@@edwarddanza5468 I heard someone say that the reason they don't bring back Monoblos is because of lore reasons. They said that they've been hunted to extinction. The person never said their source, but if it's true, that's honestly pretty dark.
