Soniclean upright vacuum link - amzn.to/2VDLpNX
I'd bet a Hoover Conquest would blow that Soniclean out the water, I've seen the mighty Conquest beat machines that cost 2x as much, filtration isn't great, but it makes up for it in performance, though I'm wanting to buy a Powr-Flite ironsides or a Koblenz, as they are unique in that they, as well as the Clarke Alto, lack a toggle or pedal power switch, instead opting for a switch that turns the machine on when the handle is depressed
A rainbow will out perform anything.
@@zachenglish6061 My old Kenmore twin fan outperformed a royal and went toe-to-toe with a Kirby, shame they don't make them anymore
@@zachenglish6061 Absolutely! The only thing that SoniClean sucks is ass.
@@vacexpert2020 going toe to toe with a Kirby is still not cleaning lol unless you use a rainbow whatever you’re vacuuming is still dirty.
I like that Myles always uses the correct terms for things..."dry soil" instead of "crud," for instance. He's like a floor care teacher.
Myles is pretty awesome 🤩
There is no "correct term" . It doesn't matter about using fancy words or not, its the same thing. , people just like to use fancy words to sound smart. "Crud" is
considered a word kids use so because of that its been given a new word - "dry soils".
Who says crud? What is that?
I'm french, what is the diff?
He doesn't use terms that would embarrass or judge the owner.
The fact that you have a giant machine that beats the s**t out of the rugs makes me smile immensely.
Automated rug spanker
What gets me is that not only did it not occur to me that such a machine even existed - now I know its kind of obvious that it would exist as you'd need it to smash the heck out of big rugs.
Need it
I know I’m jealous
@@oldvlognewtricks Automated spanker.
Such a tease not letting us see the rugs getting washed and squeedgeed!
Might be a separate video coming soon!
Exactly
I never thought there would be a context for somebody to say something like that and almost 500 people agree
Exactly! I was waiting for the wash now I'm gonna be staring at my ceiling at 2am wondering how dirty the water was and if they got back to their owners okay. 😅😂
@@quirkyviper 🤣🤣🤣🤣 at any other time we'd think we're crazy, I watch it too and it's good for the soul - they do amazing work and take so much pride in whatever they are doin.... love it 😀
Miles I recommend some ear plugs or noise canceling headphones so you protect your hearing. The machines you use can damage your ears.
AND breathing protection.
That's cool and all, but it's _his_ business and _his_ choice at the end of the day.
As a medical professional, I agree. Great advice!
@@pouringblood true, but it’s doing no harm to suggest it.
@@wigglyfruit4708 yup, and hearing protection is something that too many people don't pay attention to until they have already lost some range.
that is not just hair, i think their pet got trapped in the carpet, lol
look up mochamilk. samoyeds are wild.
@@leporid257 Also not having a good vacuum with a delicate setting and agitation. I just bought a Kirby Ultimate G Diamond Edition for $35 to do my area rugs, it has a low speed setting. They only sold it for 1 year then dropped it because people were burning the motors out leaving it on low speed and doing their entire house with it.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂😂😂👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
There’s enough hair in that rug to make a whole Nother animal
this channel has taught me to flip my rugs over twice when i vacuum them. it gets so much more dirt out. Thank you!
Nah, just retrofit and install a full grate system under all the rugs in your house ...... it will greatly increase the air flow thru your rugs when you vacuum. :0D
After watching one of those videos I laid the rug on the deck and did just that.
This channel has taught me how disgusting my carpet must be. Wish I could flip my carpet over or take it to the cleaners lol

Have you considered wearing at least earplugs if not ear protection ear muffs to save your hearing? All that constant sound at high decibels day after day can lessen your hearing and that is irreversible.
A little late to the party, but I 100% agree. Even a box of cheap foam in ears would save his hearing in this case. Opting for a pair of over ears would also be nice, they are easy enough to store.
What??
Lol.
I agree
Me: hmm it’s 3am and I can’t get back to sleep, might watch a video on RUclips.
RUclips: Wanna watch some rugs get vacuumed?
I'm drinking coffee while watching a rug get a good vacuuming. Sometimes I wonder about me.
i watched him a long time ago and now looking back he's finally got his entire workshop updated. its amazing to see the progress!!
I never thought I'd ever find cleaning rugs and carpets to be fascinating. You keep it interesting and make it look easy. Thanks for sharing!
That duster machine is the darndest thing I've ever seen, had no idea they existed. If I worked in your business , I'd send my rugs thru it every day.
I'm watching a man vacuum a rug....wtf is wrong with me? lol
it's the covid ... really .. before you know it, you'll be watching pimple popping, cow hoof trimming and plumbers unblocking drains .. sigh ..

Hello, I just want you guys the know that I’ve been having an extremely hard time in my life, but I get on and watch your videos and for a little while I forget about everything else and I feel better. I genuinely look to you guys as inspiration because you guys are the joyful hardworking kind of people I hope to be one day. Thank you so much and god bless you all.
Hey Nicole I hope your life gets better soon, stay strong 🖤
I have three large dogs and a cat that shed everywhere. I need that vacuum. Lol
I use the dyson v11 animal and its actually incredible! It is made for pet hair but works great for everything. Best part to me is that there are no bags to worry about. You can just dump the stuff that got sucked up and then rinse any remaining dust. Highly recommend!
Sell them. Who needs pets anyways? They are disgusting, money wasting, and soon wont help you financially in the long run. But if you enjoy short hapiness, its okay.
Seconding a Dyson. Amazing vacuums!
@@sm3675 go see a therapist please
@@sm3675 not liking pets is a major red flag in my opinion. Pets have a lot of benefits.
I guess watching rugs being cleaned is my new thing now 🤷🏾♀️
I LOVE the idea of you guys reviewing vacuums.
I'm going to share this with my wife to help explain why the homeowner level carpet cleaner we have is not the answer to our dirty rugs.
The homeowner level ones might be good for regular maintinence, but it's a good idea to have them professionally cleaned once or twice a year. Learned that from my mom lol. At least my carpet cleaner's an upright and not one of those older monstrosities the size of a large tote like mom had; though in its defense, it worked amazing and only stopped working last year. Too bad the newer more manageable machines don't last 50 years...
Your new equipment is amazing! Super happy to see your family business growing and improving :)
Hey Miles, would you be willing to do an episode of just product review and recommendations? Would be extremely helpful as I am just stating up my carpet cleaning business! Thank you so much for your help, it's been major for me!
Good Evening from Bonnie Scotland. Love watching your posts
I'm not gonna lie. I own four small Karajas (Persia/Iran, c. 1895-1915) and I have six long hair cats. These rugs have *never* been cleaned so far as I know. I took one in because one of our cats had turned it into her personal long-term litterbox solution. It was in a junk room we enter about once every four or five years. The rug (a 5x8) was so nasty that I packed it up for the dump. I really didn't want to throw it out. I got it cleaned and that same amount of hair and dirt came out of it - a single 5x8!!!!!!
The rug guy was way cool and did not charge me extra for the cat pee work. The price was reasonable and I also got a great education on good care practices for our wool/cotton Persian rugs. I also worked out an order and some quotes to have several issues fixed on this rug. All the prices are a lot more reasonable than I had been led to expect. This baited the hook with great work and prices, then set it with my miniature rug education, and he has reeled in a new, regular customer.
THIS is how you establish long-term relationships with people. I will take all my rugs to him whenever we can afford to have something done. AND I watched him beat and vacuum the stuff out of the nap and foundation. It was disgusting. HAHAHA!!! He took a look at my little rug and laughed out loud, saying, "Can you stay for a while? You're really going to want to see this get cleaned. Trust me, it'll blow your mind, man."
You guys are a credit to your families..love your work ethic and attitude...best delivery of how to do this job...wish you all the best in the future 💖
The fact that it’s 11:01 and I’m watching this man vacuum a rug is crazy 😂😂 what’s funnier is the fact that I said “ that a nice vacuum I need that vacuum” 😂😂
Is there a significant weight difference after the rug is cleaned or are the still pretty much the same heavy?
No there's not a significant difference.
It would be interesting if he weighed them before and after
@@chadmayes1078 rugs can hold nearly their weight in dust and dirt. A cleaned rug will weigh a great deal less than the same rug pre cleaning.
@@codename495 I wonder what the difference between before and after (weight wise).
Less than 4 pounds. More than 1.5....just weight the dry soil should account for most of it.
Maybe do rug with the new vacuum and then go over it with the one you've had, then see if it did a good job.
Couldn’t have clicked any faster once I saw the notification!! Glad you are back to posting 🤩🔥
Ye
Miles, I’ve been subscribed for a long time and let me just say, the videos have really really progressed in professionalism and polish. Just how your work ethic has always down to be. Keep up the great work!
One of my great joys is the first vacuuming for a new client who is sure I can't get her carpet under control. So I show her 5 cups of webs/dust/etc on the first pass of 4 avg rooms. Then 4 weeklys later, there's barely 2 tablespoons.
Clean your carpets, folks!!
On the up close shots it looked as if the vacuum wasn't doing much . . Well at least to me it looked that way . . Did manage to pull out A LOT of hair though . . I was shook 😂 . . This is a nice reminder on why I don't have any dogs/cats 😂🤣
@MooseyQ Negative boss . . . I don't have pets because I don't like pet hair being every where . . . Also, I don't have any rugs and I clean my carpets often ✌🏽😊 . . Peace be with you
@MooseyQ You must be really bored . . Not going back and forth . . Say what you will 😊😊 Have a nice life booboo 😚😊
Same I like having my house clean especially the floors and having pets would definitely kill me with all their hair
Same! Lol
@@BeezyBee89 aren’t rugs and carpets the same thing?
Lord kinda makes you wonder if they ever put a vacuum on on those rugs
Darla Morris...just what I was thinking!
I agree!
At the end of the video, I said: “Well maybe they don’t believe in vacuuming” lol
I have never seen that vacuum before, I thought it did a good job. It worked well on the pet hair. Thank you for sharing, stay safe.
I never thought I’d be excited about seeing you test a new vacuum! I desperately need a new vacuum haha
You should be wearing a mask around all that dust!!!!! I hope you were!
Lol you sound like a nosey mother.
Definitely don't want to be breathing in powdered skeet stains
I would be more concerned with hearing protection.
The machine is a sealed suction system, nothing is getting out of it during the "beating" process.
I need a benadryl for this
🤣
I held my breath out of habit when he tore the bag open.
Full bag. Your family has quite the operation for cleaning rugs. Y’all are professional and appear to a great job in your videos.
Please consider wearing a mask while shaking out all that dust, years worth of allergens trapped in those carpets can take a toll on you.
Ever used a squeegee on a dry rug? Really grabs the pet hair!
Or a rubber glove on your hand. Works a treat!
I have a carpet rake that has kinda silicone/rubber sticky fingers, it really grabs the fur too
Between you and me Myles, that vacuum looks good
RUclips keeps putting these in my recommendations and I'm always glad it does
That's why it's awesome to own a floor cleaning business. That floor in your workshop looks clean enough to eat off of.
I wonder if they make giant lint rollers, but for rugs.
It must be disgusting knowing a lot of the “soil” is the customers dead skin and dust and dirt and so on.
Well that's why it's called soil, it's dirt and dead stuff
I have been binge watching your videos. I cringed when I watched another guys videos . Your team is absolutely hands down the best. You are extremely careful and respectful about not vacuuming over customers cords , items on floors, not crashing into walls and furniture. Kudos to you all and hope to see more upcoming jobs!
Been watching your videos since 2015 omfg the best thing ever. Its 2021 congratulations on making it this far
I'm partial to my Shark with their new duo clean, no hair tangle wrap tech. Can't beat it because I never have to clean any hair wrapped around the bar ever again.
I have a Shark Duo Clean as well. Amazing at picking up dirt, dust and Dog hair. Even beats my Dyson, though it is a little old at 12 years!
@@RiminiVirage I cannot say enough good things about these new sharks. They have the Vertex out now with the powerfins. I just have the older Uplight for now and it is amazing.

OMG! You need a respirator when dumping bags! My allergies are kicking up in sympathy. So much dust/dirt
Dumps hair and dirt on floor, vacuumed it up 😂🤣🙃🤔😲 I'm new lol
I"m curious for you to test the RICCAR Vacuums. Its suppose to be the rolls royce of vacuums. Wonder how it would hold up to commercial use.
Glad you're back! I had to get my rug washing/squeegee fix from another rug washing channel.
I work for a flooring company and we recommend that vacuum over dyson. If you use a dyson on most carpets it’ll void your warranty where the soniclean won’t.
So good 💪🏼
7:24 I have the overwhelming feeling that I have to sneeze 🤧😂
Miles you are a machine at cleaning new equipment is amazing I hope you get paid well for all your hard work.
That is half of a dog!!! Awesome video, I wish I could get my rugs cleaned!! That large machine that loosens the dirt is amazing, everyone should have one.
@7:38 You could make whole new cat out of this!
Agreed -- a large cat or a small dog! 🐈🐕
We had a guy come clean our carpets after we moved out of our house. We had already packed up the vacuum, but I figured that was okay because you always vacuum and have said vacuuming first is so important. This dude that showed up to clean the carpets didn't even have a vacuum. When I asked him about vacuuming he looked at me like I was crazy and said, "I clean the carpet. I don't vacuum". Unsurprisingly, he did a horrible job. I was like "Miles would have done so much better than this fool". I would have called you, but I figured two states away was more than you'd travel for a job.
A trick I learned from vacuuming my own rugs to get pet hair out was to vacuum very slowly. If you go quickly, the hair just stays where it is but if you go very slowly it will come right up if using an upright vacuum as opposed to one without the brushes built in.
I love watching this business grow
The machines sound pretty loud on video, would you need hearing protection? it seems that long term exposure might affect your hearing
Wonder if the customer watches this video and thinks “so that’s why I have allergies”
i havent used the vacuum but me and my friend watched and it look pretty cool. very impressive.
I was surprised at how well it worked. Nice demo. I agree though I would want a hose for certain places. Thanks much
The question would be how much more dirt could you get our AFTER you used the new vacuum??
My brain when i see hairy soil:
"Pet. It."
I think it's going to be a full bag. I hope it works great for you. Thank you to the person that sent it, you must really like the videos too.

Is it weird that I find this so satisfying?
Hello from London. I find your videos really satisfying and very relaxing to watch. Keep up the good work!
Really didn't think much of that vacuum.
eh. it still pulled out out significantly more than the beater.
Loving your videos, man. Keep it up. You're doing great work and making great videos.
nice setup you have. good video, edited well. thank you!
Reasons to rip your carpet out....bc they can't be cleaned like this. Eww
I remember when we used our carpet cleaner on our new apartment floors. It took weeks of washing before the water came out clean! No more carpets for meeee 😬
I hate carpet. Worse invention ever. They are nothing but dirt collectors. You can never get them clean.
They trap the dirt instead of it floating through the air, like a passive air filter. Personally, my asthma and allergies have been worse since we got laminate floors. Carpets just need to be cleaned regularly with a good vacuum.
I'm new here but I get so much anxiety watching the "duster". It looks so loud! Get yourself a decibel monitor to see if you should be wearing hearing protection!
He is straight up STRONG. Those rugs HEAVY!!!!
Thanks for showing us the dirt
You could make a whole new dog out of all that hair! 🐩

I am positively riveted by all of this. I just keep thinking how I could honestly see myself doing this kinda work (even in spite of my nasty pet/dust/mold/pollen allergies). Just *watching* them bring those nasty rugs thru their whole process has me feeling satisfied. Imagine how much more intense that feeling of payoff would be if *I* was doing it myself! Lol!
Beautiful work and beautiful rugs 🥺

Hi Myles! I have that vacuum cleaner and I love it. It is very powerful.
Wow, you are seriously well invested there. Nice premises and nice equipment.
Why am I watching rugs being vacuumed and washed for the past hour? And why is it this satisfying??
A month ago I bought A Shark Rotator lift away Vacuum cleaner. It picked up more then on your carpets. Cost less then a Dyson and I love it. Finally a goo Vacuum cleaner that does the job. also does not kick up ANY dirt/dust like the older ones did. Yes after removing so much dust/dirt/pet hair I can breath better . For sure worth it.
I don't even have carpet in our apartment but I really enjoy how you and your family work.
