- Let's make a paper hawthorn flower for May.
I know I am getting in on the last day here but here is my free paper flower template for May (this is my second one this month). I loved making the hawthorn. It is a small flower but so pretty and will be perfect as a filler or on a card!

Cute small flower
Thank you!
These are so pretty!
Thank you so much!
You mention for the center of the flower…’you may not want to do fast mode for this one’. I use a cricut, can we slow down the cut? A detailed small piece like this will most likely get shredded on my machine. I’ve often thought if only it could cut slower, it wouldn’t shred the paper! If this is doable, please do tell! Lovely flower by the way!
First off, thank you! So on the newer machines they are always in “fast mode” according to cricut. If you find your machine always tears up stuff like this. I would use the intricate cut setting. I honestly don’t know if it slows it down but it might! I wish you should adjust speed like on a silhouette but they haven’t made that available yet.
There supposed to be a way to slow down the explore and explore 2. Not sure if the explore 3 has that option. Nome of the maker series have that as far as I know. Perhaps if you browse all materials and then scroll down to edit settings there's a way in there.
@cherimccain12 I looked in the materials. No speed settings. But I will check again.
I discovered I gave incorrect info. I think you can only adjust them to fast mode and it's for the maker and explore 2 only. I'll try to put a link in my next comment for the info but it's on cricut's website.
Thank you! I mention using fast mode in the video which is why the original question was asked! The newer models are auto fast according to cricut and older makers and explore air 2 has the option.
