@@adrianathemogul3117 i know 🥲 a couple friends in previous classes told me that they weren’t offering it but who knows maybe they will for my class. what bases were you offered?
Hey queen I literally was looking for training videos and yours came up .. I hope you get IAD.. I start training at the end of August and I would be based at IAD to be close to home
Adriana, are you still based in IAD? I’m hoping I get IAD as well. Are you covering 2 other bases as well? How is it living in D.C. in terms of cost of living?
I hope you got the base that you want it. I'm starting my training at the end of next month. I'm super nervous but excited. Also we need a update girl. 💙🤗🥰
It seems like you were at Envoy for a pretty short time? What made you want to switch airlines? I am considering applying at Envoy therefore I am curious - thank you :)
I just binge watched a bunch of your videos. Can't wait for your next update! Hope all is going well so far and you got your base choice. I have so many questions. lol Did you have to show a physical copy of your vaccine or was digital ok? What's the attire for training? What came in your kit? I would also love to know what bases are currently being offered? Was ORD or MIA open? I have my f2f next week with United and got a CJO from another Mainline but with that one they're only offering NYC and Boston bases to new FA's and I can't find an affordable living situation in either city to save my life and there's like zero open crash pads open. I'm in my 40's so crash pad life does NOT appeal to me at all but neither does commuting from Cali😅
Hi so I will try to answer as many questions as I can. Btw thanks for watching!! You do need a physical vaccine card, I do not know if the rules have changed since I was in training. I’m not sure what kit you are referring to. The attire for trading is black dress bottoms and a collared whit button up dress shirt. You must have hosiery or dress socks on. You have casual days where you can wear jeans. The bases they’re offering changes so frequently it would be hard for me to give you an answer that doesn’t change next week tbh. I wish you the best of luck with what we you decide but most major airlines have bases in expensive cities unfortunately bc they are trying to tap the market in those large cities.
@@adrianathemogul3117 I so appreciate your reply. Glad you got your base! I got my CJO last week and you are right Houston is such a vibe I loved it there!!! Still waiting for my background check and drug test to clear so I can get my training dates but I'm so excited.
Congrats on your journey 🤗!! I just got my CJO & I was wondering.. clothing wise, did you wear your white button down & black pants the majority of the time?
Congrats to you!! Yes you will wear the black bottoms white top most every day so get comfy, but professional, bottoms and lots of tops. You do have few casual days sprinkles in there where you can wear jeans.
@@adrianathemogul3117 You welcome 🎉✈️ ⚜️I have a quick question 🙋♀️ how much of Reserve will I have to do with Envoy. Also can you ⚠️please keep me posted for when United is hiring ❓
I start training in 2 weeks I am very excited and very nervous. How are the test’s and do they immediately test you on everything they send out in the welcome packed, referring to the study guide?
i start my training Monday and I’m a bit confused. The check in date for the hotel is Monday but the emails said classes start on Monday. Is flying and doing the hearing/vision test considered as the first day?
I comment on your pre training video, also I wanted to ask I applied to be a inflight supervisor, which require me to be in the office. Being that I won’t be flying, just curious. I renewed my passport & still waiting! By any chance do you know if I may need my passport just to be a supervisor just incase it don’t come in time
Hi there I am waiting on training date, is it about a month before you get a training date I’m trying to decide when to put in my 2 weeks at work? Also is training in the same place for everyone or is it different locations and are all the rooms the same like the divider between you and your roommate? The privacy looks wonderful and if you have a tip on how to get the window that would be great lol! Thanks in advance
So they do give you about a month to prepare after sending you your training date. As far as putting in your two weeks, I’m the type that waits until the very last minute. Of course do what’s best for your career, but there is always the chance they can move you up or back a class. As far as I know right now everyone is training in Houston. There are 2 different hotel options for training one has the privacy wall one does not. The only way to get the good side is by getting to the room first and claiming it. Which is a toss up because you usually get roomed with whoever you arrive with.
Hi, I have training in about 3 weeks, my question is how long did it take them to send you the training manual and information? Ive just been getting kind of nervous because training is 10/10 & i still haven't received any thing about the training. I did sign my training agreement and complete other paper work.
Hi! I just had my interview this Monday and got an offer! Do you know how long it takes to hear back about your training start time? Wondering if I will be in the next training class
Hello girl, I have my interview with the airline you where working with prior. Why did you make the decision to start working for this airline (United)? Good luck on your training🥰
I’ve been trying to apply for FA at United but there’s only bilingual positions open right now🤦🏾♀️how long ago did you apply? Will they be hiring again soon?
So you would be correct in that observation. They open their application kind of on and off randomly so you have to catch it when it’s open. My best suggestion to you would be to join the United careers email list so they can update you when openings become available. My second suggestion would be to join the Facebook group, flight attendant career connection. They always post about different airlines hiring and if you scroll through there a couple days a week you’re bound to hear about an opening.
In the particular hotel I was staying at there was a partition in the room so I felt like we kind of hard our own space. I believe the e other hotel your beds are right next to each other. I believe in both you do share restrooms.
Hey how are you? Congratulations on training!! How would you say that paychecks are? Not to get into your business too much but I know it’s $28.88? Plus the $2?
You can make a pretty good living. It just depends on you work ethic and how much time you want to put in. I always pick up trips. I personally can not live off of the minimum 78 hours but some people can.
Hi 👋🏻 I came across your video, I am currently waiting on my results from my F2F interview 🤞🏻but how does being a reserve work? How often do you fly? Do they pay when you’re not flying or give some type of compensation? Because I am aware that starting off as a reserve I have to be on standby but not sure how compensation works when let’s say I don’t fly for like 4-5 days. Thank you 😊
Primero, tienes que hablar inglés. Segundo, tienes que por lo menos tener permiso para trabajar en los Estados Unidos. Ellos no te lo dan. Ya lo tienes que tener.
So I didn’t go into too much details in these videos for a reason. Uniteds training process is pretty clear on what can and can’t be shared. I tried to share as much as I felt comfortable with sharing. I’m sorry about that.
Somewhat. We receive a weekly stipend, but nothing that’s going to cover most people’s bills. I am not sure if they still offer a loan at the end of training.

I believe I did. I think I put flexi rods in my hair for that day. I appreciate that so much. When it’s rough I just try to smile through it.
I'm still awaiting my training date!

Okay so you get your training date info about a month out and all the pertinent details about a week before.
So usually you get your training date a month in advance.
Hello girl, I have my interview with the airline you where working with prior. Why did you make the decision to start working for this airline (United)? Good luck on your training🥰
Honestly it was a mixture of things. Mostly pay, destinations and crew base options. Envoy is an amazing airline to get your feet wet with though.
Hello! What are the hours of training each day? Usually 8-5? Also, do they tell you what to pack and such before hand? Thanks!
I think its around 11 hours a day from 6am-5pm or 5pm-4am. They'll also send you a packing list. Hope this helps :)
How do they conduct the vision test? Is it reading from a chart? Or like motor vehicles
Honestly i'm not sure if I am allowed to say, but I will say as long as it's correctable you should be fine.
Are vision tests conducted at the Houston interview location? Have that coming up next week and really need to know please!

Did u have a roommate? Or a combined room ?
So you do have a Roomate and the layout of the room is dependent on which hotel they put you at.
is there a dress code? is it white tops and black pants?
Yes it is a white button down and black dress pants/skirts. Unfortunately I do not remember the shoes
also, this hotel room with the divider - is this the M or the H?
