My favorite Skylander is what the community deems as the worst Tech Skylander: Drill Sergeant.
Can agree, he is just a cool Arkeyan Robot.

Sunburn is by far the best S1 Fire Skylander. His flame breath path can put out more DPS than the other three put together.
at least in Giants yeah, although ignitor has some crazy dps with his mortar
Drobot is my favorite from SSA, I just love how fast he is and how broken he can be with his lasers. It's for those reasons why I like him so much better than Trigger Happy, though he's pretty good too, just can't compete with Drobot.
Here's what I'd call my favorite Skylanders from SSA:
Magic: Spyro.
Fire: Ignitor.
Water: Gill Grunt.
Undead: Chop Chop, or Hex.
Life: Stealth Elf.
Air: Sonic Boom.
Earth: Prism Break.
Chop chop is still my favorite skylander till this day, glad he is number 1
Double Trouble is very underrated IMO. He was always the favorite of my dad. I played through SSA with my dad, and he helped max out all of the Skylanders, primarily using double-double to help clear levels while I played as the character we were trying to max out. His main attack is incredible because it attaches to targets and allows for the player to move while using it. It melts through bosses and allows the player to dodge attacks.

Zook has to be one of the most fun to play, with his floral defender parh he can grow cactus and attack very far with his bazooka, his mortar attack is very good too especialy with this path and the soul gem, he can grow cactus on the spot and then split into 3 other spots

Shout out for Dino-Rang, whose boomerang spin move deflects every projectile. IIRC.
My fav skylander in spyro's adventure is Stealth Elf but my fav from each of the other elements is
Fire: Eruptor (his design and attacks are just cool in my opinion)
Water: Gill Grunt (i love his design and attacks aswell, and i also had a plushie of him when i was younger but one day it broke really badly and my grandma threw it away, i miss it a lot, but moving on)
Tech: Drobot (idk, he's just cool imo)
Undead: Chop Chop (Not by as much as the community likes him tho, it's just that the others are a bit underwhelming in comparison, in my opinin)
Wind: all are very underwhelming but Lightning Rod's the best in my opinion
Magic: Spyro (can't go wrong with the classic ol' reliable dragon!)
Earth: tie between Terrafin and Prism Break (both are fun to use and have great designs in my opinion so ye)
Life: Steath Elf is my overall favorite but if i had to pick a different life skylander it would be Camo, fun as hell to use imo.
Pretty much all the characters from SSA are good and it also depends on what version of the game you played. In the XPEC version, Gill Grunt and Wham Shell are really broken but not very good in the Wii version
I personally love bash the speed and damage mix is just so good
Don’t forget about the defence too.
My favorite ssa skylander is drobot, his Moveset is great and his design is really cool
Love the videos dude :D my favorite was always Wham Shell, although I may be biased bc I was hunting for him for like, over 4 years before I finally got a physical SSA version (I was a kid and didn't know about Ebay LOL)

Despite having all the original sylanders and dark spyro. I probably rarely used these 8 community favourite skylanders compared to others. My main ones were probably.
Bash - Earth
Zap - Water
Wrecking ball - Magic
Flameslinger - Fire
Drobot- Tech
Warnado - Air
Hex - Undead
Camo - Life
Most of my character choices are based on speed and if they can destroy enemies and lose no health. Wrecking ball heals constantly when facing enemies which is why I use him. Hex is op with her spells. Drobot is drobot. Bash, Warnado & flameslinger are very fast and do heavy damage when used well. Camo, just because most of the life elements were not great.
Interesting to see what others chose. Chop Chop, Lightning rod, Stealth elf & prism break were characters I was never fond of back in 2011/2012 with Lightning rod staying at lv2 until 2024 when I replayed this game.
hey I appreciate you sharing what your experience was like and who your favorites were! I do like your picks with the exception of warnado and hex- although series 2 hex was very good in giants.
also you say most of the life elements were not great? in my opinion every single one of them was very good, especially in giants. S2 Zook has a super OP wow pow and I believe Camo can defeat Robo kaos faster than any other Skylander.
I grew upon stump smash, stump smash is my hero. He once said: “STUMP SMASH”. How dare you belittle him to stealth elf 😫
flameslinger has a screen nuke...and its even better on the xpec version

My favorite SSA Skylander is Zook, mainly because if you chose the bottom path his mortar shell split and spawn cacti for CRAZY DPS, His secondary atrack also helps by placing a damaging barrier between you and the enemy. The Primary atrack is alright in a pinch but the Tertiary arrack is the wat to go for him
wow, love for zook is kinda rare
With S2 Zook The Mortars Get Even Better Because You Can Choose Where They Hit And Spam Them

@@TheDBBOfficial boomer is great but hes missing one massive thing..a movement option,he has 0 movement option,unlike the true best skylanders like stealth elf,drobot,sunburn and flameslinger they ALL have some kind of dash or great movement ability which can help save u in a pinch or if u just want to be fast.
I really do think cynder is underrated, shes really op, fast, and explosive and from what i remember, decent health
I played not that much SSA Skylanders, but for me Trigger Happy and Warnado with Prism Break would be my favorites.

honestly all 4 life skylanders are top 10 literally the strongest element, i think camo is overrated and stump smash is highly underrated but all are brilliant
This is just community rankings, if it were taken without biases, and at a purely statistical point of view, sunburn would easily win

im pretty sure ignitor has the highest dps in SSA, don't quote me on that tho
I like Sunburn bc the teleport is literally just Deadpools teleport.
Trigger Happy is 100% my favorite, I completed the whole game almost exclusively playing him!
Also side note It took me a long time to find out that if you die durning a boss fight you could just switch skylanders.

Camos, my personal favourite. However, drobots plain overpowered. Seriously, go into battle mode with a friend and just hover left and right while attacking.

Nah they did hex dirty, she and zook are the ranged masters but I have like 4 chop chops so that’s probably my fave skylander

My 2 fav is ghost roster and lightning rod. Ghost roster for good speed and decent damage and Lightning rod for really good damage and they are cool and just fun to use

I can't decide whether my favorite is Flameslinger or Ignitor. Both amazing Skylanders!
If you get Chop Chops shield to the max, he gets so strong and basicly invincible! Helped me greatly to beat Chaos final boss battle
I played skylanders in the arean with my friends to find zap and drobot were unequivocally the best mainly cos they can spam attacks but also because their spam is also super high damage

Chop Chop is my favourite Skylander and I’m so glad to see him be the most popular here. As for Drobot, while I don’t blame you for saying he only has one good attack, if you pick his bottom path his secondary attacks is way more useful, making him a lot more fun to use.

according to my team's research, that's the better path for Giants but the coin one is better for SSA

My favorite skylander at the moment is Hex. not very good in ssa but in giants and swap force shes a unit. im also loving playing as star strike combos are really good if you can get a hang of it. love the videos btw :)

This thing does unbelieveably stupid and outright broken damage (On Xpec version at least).
Yeah, on xpec he's much more powerful. In just about every other game he sucks. S4's wow pow and Elite do help though.
