Kat DeLuna makes a lot of great music... I mean, she has sooo many BANGERS! When she makes English and Spanish versions of the same song, they don't sound forced or unnatural, they are equally great. I really wish she could put out more music, but I think her label's get in the way of that. She had difficulties getting her 2nd album out for a long time, until she got the deal in Belgium, who finally put the album out. I have seen her live, and I do think she tries to do more than she needs to, vocally, and she doesn't need to. She is an excellent singer, dancer, performer, and the vocal theatrics take away from that. But she definitely has a great deal of talent, and should be a much bigger artist.

Not everything is the artists fault. Sometimes the producers give songs away and the writers. It’s not always the artists “stealing something”. And Kat defended her and like she said the same producer worked with them. That happens all the time. Songs sound similar or have similar vocals sometimes because of who they’ve worked with. Especially if it’s a producers signature sound.
