    Great review, nice motors, smooooth flight. I'm running BrotherHobby Avenger 2806.5 1300Kv motors on my 7 inch inav build. It's so smooth and is a joy to cruise around with. Happy flying Albert. 🤓

    Footage was so smooth un-stabilized, quite a tune you have on that rig...

    • @AlbertKimTV
      @AlbertKimTV  4 года назад +1

      Default PIDs. The lower rates is what makes it look smoother.

      Big motors on 7" rigs are usually pretty damn smooth on stock tune. As soon as i switched from 2207 to 2507 and 2806.5 on my 7" rigs all my tuning issues vanished

    6 years ago my best flight time with fpv model or tiger 2206 2000kv with multistar 4000mah 3s was 12min. Just ordered the 4" croc without fpv and 2 3000 mah 4s lions to see how far we have come flight dependability wise.

    • @AlbertKimTV
      @AlbertKimTV  4 года назад

      That should fly closer to 30 minutes.

    • @hoverbotfpv1425

      geprc was quoting that time with the 6s but the 4s were on sale $36 Us so I grabbed those. I have ones I have made so want to see if c rating is better. I will be going with an old runcam off the 2" analog so extra time probably over vista.@@AlbertKimTV I think

    Hey albert, interesting to hear that the first two escs blew on you.. i run the brotherhobby 2806.5 and the 2507s on 45a escs and ive never had an issue.. either way, great video man 👍

    Big beefy motors. Love em for long range. But for racing I do prefer the brotherhobby 2510 that DRL runs. Not the fastest for racing but I’ve got so much more control. Btw I run the hobbywing 60a on mine and have never had an issue, but also a 2200mah 5s to match the drl racer 4.

    Nice looking motors .. i run the xing 2806.5's 1300kv on a hobbywing 60a esc on an FR7 frame .. very smooth power train :).. feel a new build coming on lol

    Do you think it can be used also on a 5" kwad?

    • @AlbertKimTV
      @AlbertKimTV  3 года назад

      Yes, but it's so heavy for a 5 inch prop the usefulness is not there.

    Is this motor more efficient than the RacerStart (Tmotor) 2508 motors you recommended for all 7" LR builds in the "Bigger is better" video? The battery I'm using is a 2100mah. Also a 2600mah.

    • @AlbertKimTV
      @AlbertKimTV  4 года назад +1

      Yeah, I think it's more efficient for a 7 inch prop. Smaller props not so much.

    Can you give me your BLHeli32 Setup for the T-Motor F90 Pro on 6s ? Mine is making some problems... Maybe it´s a betaflight issue but i have to check it ... Every time I go up with the throttle stick the motor starts spinning up to a defined rpm and doesnt respond to my throttle stick inputs anymore...

    • @AlbertKimTV
      @AlbertKimTV  4 года назад

      I'm running default everything with no changes. I suspect there is something wrong with your build but I don't have enough info here to make any determination as to what that is.

    Hey Albert - for a high pitched 5" or 6 inch tri with a 1500 5s battery for cruising , is a 2208 1750 motor efficient enough, or would you recommend to motor up to like a 2408 ?

    • @AlbertKimTV
      @AlbertKimTV  4 года назад +1

      It's enough for cruising but not really gonna be fun for acro

    • @AlbertKimTV

      The prop will need to be much larger on 3S. I haven't tested it like that so I don't really know the answer.

    • @hailudyami7468
      @hailudyami7468 3 года назад

      @@AlbertKimTV Gonna order one and try I bet it's optimised for higher voltages so I won't get optimal efficiency but it will work probably. replacing a 1300 KV motor Rated for 3S with an 8" prop thx for the vid

    Do most 7” quad fly like a light 4” in the wind? I see a little bit of bobble in the dvr footage. I’m struggling to get a really locked in tune on my 7”. Am I trying for something that’s not common?
