Judge Reinhold spoke to us about his career in Hollywood, the upcoming Beverly Hills Cop movie, and his upcoming debut at the Arkansas Repertory Theatre.
Legend Billy Rosewood. That bit on Beverly Hills Cop when they're infiltrating the Maitland estate, and Billy and Taggart are in cover while being shot at by goons with machine guns from high up on balconies. When the goons stop shooting for a brief moment, Billy pops up holding up his badge and shouts "Police! You're all under arrest!" and then they shoot down at them again. Taggart says "You do that again, I'll shoot you myself!" 🤭😆😅 ruclips.net/user/shortsd8LFoPzfWOg Really hope there's a bit like that in Beverly Hills Cop 4 aswell 😊
What a sight for sore eyes, great actor, stand up guy. I wish all the best to him and thank you Judge for giving us all those great characters you played and played so well. God speed.
The Trio John Ashton /Eddie Murphy /Judge Reinhold is a fabulous trio . I never tire of seeing Beverly hills Cop again and again .Of course the others actors in this movies are very good too.
@@my_MillenniumFalcon Oh really? Is that what your extensive experience leads you to believe? (Haha I'm quoting one of my favorite lines from Ronny Cox's character Bogimil. Agree man, Mr. Cox was excellent in his role)
The mayor called the chief, the chief called deputy chief, the deputy chief chew my ass off you see I don’t have any of it left “ Inspector Todd (Gilbert Hill )
Brad Hamilton lol this guy was a really good actor he was in Fast Times, Gremlins, Beverly Hills Cop and even Santa clause in the 90s. He had a lot of good roles.
Funny thing is the script for Beverly Hills Cop 4 was written by an ex-cop turned screenwriter Will Beale. He also wrote episodes of the TV show Castle, the film The Gangster Squad and drafts of Aquaman and Justice League. Hopefully, he wrote a great sequel to one of my favorite films. Lord knows we deserve it.
The first two BHC films were for adults, and that's why they were great. the third one was made for kids, and that was a gross mistake and the reason it sucked. They should stay faithful to what the original film was all about. if they make a new one, it should not be for kids! and no woke stuff for gods sake.
LOVE HIM SO SO MUCH.... Wrote him years ago after he shot down his career after the failure of Cop 3... I told him about myself.. My disability and how I have to prove myself... I told him that he and the others are family and that if he never got a lead roll that I still loved him anyway.... He sent me a signed Photo and it said.. "You sure did show them! You're a real spitfire! You keep on showing them girl... With love Judge Reinhold... Helps me get my ass out of bed most days... Saw the first "Cop" Movie when I was 13... Loved the whole gang from Day 1.....
Lol he probably wouldn’t remember his guest appearance in King of Queens but his character in that episode “Secret Garden”is hilarious. The gynaecologist. 😂😂😂
He was a real Detroit chief and politician during the first 3 bhc never acted before u would think he was a vet in Hollywood I believe he would've been in alot if films he wasn't into politics
He looks almost just like back in 1981 , but besides that i have never seen anyone with so large ears ever , i know they grow when you get older but this has to be close to a world record.
I loved Vice Versa. But I remember how over the top Judge played a 12 year old. Its hard to play a 12 year old because they are personalitywise not far off from an adult. If he played it real it would be hard to realize he was playing a kid. Playing a 5 or 6 year old is easier since they tend to be so different than an adult in the way they carry themselves. Of course VV came out in that brief trend of body swap films toward the end of the 80's. 18 Again with George Burns, Like Father Like Son, which was another favorite of mine but even Dudley played it a bit over the top for what a 16 year old would act like.
"I am absolutely thrilled! I love everything about it. As someone who grew up in the 80s, I strongly believe that Eddie Murphy should receive some sort of recognition. He has definitely entertained millions of people in amazing ways. Beverly Hills Cop is a fantastic series and I truly hope it does well at the box office."
Man Eddie Murphy is a master and Richard Pryor also I just seen another you will gene wilder and Richard Pryor which is fucking hilarious and can't believe I never even heard of it like Eddie Murphy movies but I guess it's about the promotions and advertising 🤷 and everything, I found it on RUclips myself Last night
The new Beverly Hills Cop movie is out on Netflix. It's pure nostalgia, but framed as it might be 40 years later. Of course, the original was one of several breakout roles for early Eddie. They don't pretend the characters are young, but they don't make them old and decrepit either. It's a nostalgia trip, for sure. Brings a smile to watch it. It's like comfort food in a movie.
I don't understand how "sense of personal space" is such a huge topic of disundertanding in intercultural relations. It's cool that [you guys] bring that up, and that [Judge Reinhold is] obviously able to handle that aggressive proximity with ease, and that Seinfeld has his attention to his sense. ... [Personal space]'s a basic concept to not violate in one regard or another, just as basic as the idea of food and music being benevolent cultural introductions. I guess the comic relief of occurrence must have been great news, and the concept needs reintroduction in some fashion. But, it's like the "cannoniacal ambassador" becomes some sort of shifting sand dune with the currents of social practice, anyway.
Judge Reinhold is hilarious. He's the kind of actor who portrayed characters who never get mad.
In real life he does. ruclips.net/video/n-RDgvwp5FE/видео.html
Billy at the end of Beverly hills cop 2 got mad 😅
His characters bring always a happy smile faces.
he's an amazing actor!

I'll never forget his epic moment at the end of BHC 2 where he stood up his boss and Eddie was like "😳"...lol

Fast Times At Ridgemont High, first movie I saw him acting along with one of my first crushes Phoebe Cates.

Good interview
Beverly Hills Cop 2 was one of the most perfect movies ever made, it was my favorite of all the 80's films..
Even better than Die Hard?
I love this guy he was so good in fast times in ridgemont high
I liked his character more than spicoli. He was so unintentionally funny as Brad. He cracked me up in every scene. 🤣
Yeah Him and Damone were the best in FTARH
I watched Beverly Hills Cop 1 yesterday and I loved it!

Jerry Bruckheimer is back writting the script for 4.....he wrote the first B.H.C and did the latest sequel for Bad Boys and also Top Gun: Maverick

Judge is such an down to earth guy! I can't wait to see the next installment of Beverly Hills Cop!
Judge was my 80s hero from ruthless people to vice versa.
The first two BHC films were for adults, and that's why they were great. the third one was made for kids, and that was a gross mistake and the reason it sucked.

What an awesome story
the name's Wild Billy Rosewood. i'm the sheriff of this town.
Lol he probably wouldn’t remember his guest appearance in King of Queens but his character in that episode “Secret Garden”is hilarious. The gynaecologist. 😂😂😂
I love the cast and movie. Judge Reinhold is a gifted and wonderful actor.
Too bad Foleys Detroit boss is out of the question. He was one of the best characters IMO.
He was a real Detroit chief and politician during the first 3 bhc never acted before u would think he was a vet in Hollywood I believe he would've been in alot if films he wasn't into politics
Gil Hill basically played his own personality in the BHC movies, which is why his performance is so authentic.
Just bring back Martin Brest to direct and Bruckheimer to produce!
He looks great after all of these years..
He looks almost just like back in 1981 , but besides that i have never seen anyone with so large ears ever , i know they grow when you get older but this has to be close to a world record.

Judge Reinhold looks really good even for being in his early mid 60’s or something like that. Heck, he doesn’t even look a day over 50 to me.
