This was so awesome dude, but why not just use the snap tool then copy all of them when u were copying the first Piller, it would have been much easier

Just hold shift+double click.
If u use max 2022 replace shift with Ctrl

Good useful tutorial but the bend option use in last arch circle creating is not happening well in 3ds max 2017 version..the pillars are scale in other directions and the arch is still steady right there ..aslo using group all option..so why it is happens like this .I'm using 3ds max 2017 version so in it change in settings or else..tell me
I think some segments issue there....

I really enjoyed ur tuturial...i would just like to know one thing. When i try to bend arches into a circle, only the pillars form the circle, but the top part doesnt bend at all. Do u have any idea what am i doing wrong?
Did you added segment on top object?

Hi, I'm having trouble making the group bend the way it is supposed to along the Y axis could you tell me why it's not rotating?
You should select gizmo in bend modifier
@@FXGraphix I also realized my structure was facing the wrong axis, had to rotate it then it worked

try to change the bend axis......
How you edit your lines without losing bend and extrude? On 5:30 - 6:16

Hey when I am making changes to the bended object at 6:08 when I select vertex or segments the object disappears and there’s only the closed line polygon on top of pillar that can be seen

How did he select refine option from line vertex. The bend is invisible when he select line command
First select vertex & you'll see the refine option in modify list.
& you want see the mesh at select line?
So turn on the show final result.

My bending of an extruded line creates an elongated circle shape. & Bending the grup is really fd up. Wat is happening.
Try another axis....

@992802 Graham Unsworth - Student Bending of the group (making the circlet) u can fix with different angles.
@@InstagramWanker guys, just go to Utilities and go Reset Xform > reset selected > go to modifiers and collapse it. Then your Bend will do it properly.
