- ladies and Gents here is the Joyo Artist Rex Carroll doing a live guitar solo at the Whitecross show at 115 Bourbon St, Merrionette Park, Illinois.
I heard Rex during the 80's doing these amazing solos. And he has not lost any. He's even better. What a tone king, chops for days.

As good a guitarist as you'll ever find, see, hear. He's incredible. As good as Van Halen, Malmsteen, Vai, Satriani.....need I go on.....I think not.

Rex should've recorded some Solo records;I mean,REALLY showcase what he can do.Like Gary Hoey,Satch,Gilbert.I LOVE Carrol's work on In The Kingdom.I saw them at a Skating rink in Corpus(Tx),about 50 people there,Sad!Right before In the Kingdom came out.

Hey, Rex Carrol is extremely good player. He was ignored by the secular music scene and is underrated because he is a Christian. Is he as good as he used to be? Probably not. The biggest difference between him and most other guitarists is he played for The Lord and not for himself. As much as I like how well Eddie Van Halen played, in the end he lived for his glory and was called a guitar god. Now Eddie the guitar god stands before the real God he wanted nothing to do with and where did all the idolism get him?
