I heard that there are early screenshots to suggest that Action 52 was modified from a bootleg 52-in-1 Famicom cartridge from Taiwan.

Look up the story of A52. It’s quite sad actually. The developers were college and even high school kids who had a deadline of I believe 3 months to make the games and they worked long hours for little pay. Also the reason Ooze was highlighted was because there was a contest that offered a prize to the one who could beat it but the contest was literally impossible to win as the game froze when you made it to a certain level. That all said the blank games ARE real but they only work on emulators and some of the music is actually pretty boppin.

I checked, it was the Wish List (Part 1) episode where he talks about Bad Dudes.
If you adjust for inflation, Action 52 now would of costed $448.86, or $8.63 per game! All that money wasted! 🤣

12:35 That was this; en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minesweeper_(video_game) . And that game, is 1. much better bomb game than one in this Action 52 cartridge, and 2. you didn't need to buy that game separately, when you got yourself computer and windows.
And in these days, you can get same, updated Minesweeper game for free, from Microsoft Store.
I remember playing it just a little while I was on the computer class a long time ago.
They should have buried every copy of this game in the same landfall the e.t. atari 2600 games were buried in.

This game reminds me of when my dad got scammed back in the day he bought a game known jampack vol 1 at first i thought i was getting 30 games on 1 disc but it ended up being just demos for PlayStation 2 games and not full games. Watch out what you buy am i right

This and the Cheetahmen episdes always makes me feel a little nauseous after watching them. I like the episodes, but seeing so many crappy games at once is... bad.
