agree. this game remind me of vanillaware's art style such as from odin's sphere or dragon's crown. im practically loving 2d side scrolling games more than open world right now
They don't need to "unlock everything for players", just get rid of that specific way to do gachas. A duplicate system or shard system would be fine. But lumping character and items into a single pool is awful
