They clean up the beaches, locals help to tidy up some messes on the streets, roads and in the yards as well. I agree. It really makes you mad. I like it when the neighborhood is clean and nice. But there are a lot of people who draw graffiti and leave garbage everywhere. If I could, I would make them all disappear!
Fishing's been my main hobby since my childhood. For me it's the best way to relax and distract myself from the existential pain. But ecological situation in Russia and in SPb is horrible and getting worse every day. It's a torture to watch nature being killed. Poison, garbage, deforestation and nuclear waste made most of our rivers and lakes liveless and dangerous for humans. Eating fish from Neva or city lakes is pure suicide β I go on fishing, although I don't consume the fish I catch almost at all and usually let it go back to its natural habitat.
