- Hello friends,
This video is about the ABS system which kicked on the right time to save my life as well as the life of that blockhead who changed his lane immediately without giving any signal.
Due to ABS of my dominar we both were lucky to avoid major accident.
So, this is my request to you all people that if you going to buy any bike and if ABS variant is available, then please go for the ABS only.

When you're riding a powerful bike people on the streets with such smaller bikes fail to judge how quickly the powerful bike can close the distance. This has happened with me couple of times.

Parag Mahala dude, the exam is fairly tough but the system is corrupt. I myself have a bike license but I don’t know how to ride bike. 500rs and you’re good
License exams are really tough in the UK, but that does not stop them. My wife and I were driven to the airport by a taxi driver who boasted that he had failed his driving test for the 5th time. It was his brother's taxi and so he was not even insured.

Yesterday , the same was happened to me. I was in 95+ I applied a panic braking, my wheels got locked due to non ABS pulser 180F. but I managed to avoid the crash. Thank god

For those who do not do it, remember to flash your blinkers before turning, even if you're trying to duck a pothole, how else would the driver/rider behind know?
I'd recommend getting a really loud horn. Something that'll blast the other persons ears. You need a switchable horn though. Normal one and ear blasting one.

This is India and there are no indicators on bikes here. And helmet to bhai traffic police nahi pakadegi bhai.
I face the exact same situation when I was driving my car in highways.. My speed was 80 and above and I was within the speed limits of that road.. When suddenly a shit head in Maruti Ritz just directly cut me off without indicator or anything I anticipated this and was honking to gain his attention yet he just swerved into my lane as if the road was empty I had to do a panic braking but lack of ABS did take a toll. Luckily I was able to get the car back under control. Bikers and divers both should be educated on road ethics. Peace out

It saved me and my bike as well ...many times, specially in Rainy season and wet , slippery roads.. you get extra confidence to ride without any worry.. I own the APACHE RTR 180 DUAL CHANNEL ABS MODEL.. happy riding

the traffic police should really fine these guys. even in Pakistan, 70% of the motorcyclists are maniacs. they lane split when there is no place to. many a times they have hit my dad's side mirrors. many times. I don't hate motorcyclists. I love bikes. but jackasses that destroy everyone's day should be fined reasonably, or atleast warned. this exact same incident happened with my dad, the difference was that my Dad was in a car. the motorcyclist came right in front of him and if he weren't in my uncle's corolla that has ABS, he would've hit him and probably killed him, because the motorcyclist was not even wearing a helmet. and in turn,the whole society and the law would've charged my dad. this is a VERY serious issue.

Thank god your safe bro! While it was definitely his fault, I still think braking wasn't the best way to avoid a collision or at very least your bike tipping over, I've gone through most of the comments very quickly and didn't come across anyone who suggested another way to avoid such situations. Now I don't want anyone to take this offensively, yes it was his fault, but us bikers, has to always be ready to deal with others faults with the least possible risk. So with that out of the way, I hope that everyone here will take my following advice and words with open minds. If it was me in this situation, being that I always check my mirrors and is very aware of all my surroundings, I would have cut off the throttle and swerved (google the term "swerve" to practice how to do it safely) into the right lane cause out of being aware I know that there are no vehicles in it so it's a safer spot for me. After I swerve which only takes a fraction of a second I would engine brake and honk to the "block head" to make sure that he still won't come into the most right lane as well and then flip the middle finger at him and maybe even do worse shit than that. My point is, yes ABS is always a life saver but as a rider you should never depend on it 100%, all your survival tactics has to be depending on your own ability and talent, just imagine what if the ABS failed to operate and you were depending on it! Anyway, we all as riders, will always learn more and more and develop to be better riders, no one can ever be the best or get to the best he can, look at Rossi, in a lot of interviews he says that he is still learning more about riding bikes everyday! Take care and keep the rubber side down my friend.

Yes rider must not rely 100% on abs alone. However your scenario is very fantastical, simulative or very predictive. The video here shows exactly an emergency, when a rider fails to do what it should do and can only think of braking, which ABS compliments.

Seriously brakes are one hell of a life saviour so friends whenever anyone who is buying any two wheeler try getting the best braking system or always try checking the system.
Better to go for ABS....
Without ABS, you might have been in trouble with that speed.. other guy might have been as well. he wasn't wearing helmet as well, which could have damaged him a lot.
Rule of thumb for riding on the road , never Slam the breaks to its full.. this is what the Non ABS guys learn...even in extreme conditions..yes do agree ABS is need in exceptional cases , which are life saving.
Other must rule is, Never take your eye off the road, concentrate on who all are there on the road, register everything temporarily , & their moves.
with experience, we can expect what is the intent of others on the road.

One can go for dominar instead of buying RE which is a complete shit. Poor braking. NO fuel meter. Lot of vibration. Dominar is just 50k more than RE 350. Worth the money. RE has an attitude. RE feels even if there is no fuel meter fools are ready to buy it. Dominar has much more features. RE is just good in looks. Nothing else. Being a dissapointed owner of RE . Now purchased unicorn and happy with it.
U just had to research n buy it before buying.... If u wud have waited until 2019 Jan for the release of interceptor... U wud have not complained.. The company was in a loss stress... Buying a bike at that time is completely ur fault... After the launch of interceptor... Damn.. That bike is Hella awesome.. No complains whatsoever... Twin 650 with abs.. With top speed of 170... With almost 0 vibration... What more can anyone ask... So before buying... Research n then buy instead of buying a over dated model n complaining

Don't pick and compare a street /sports bike with regular bike.
In fact dominor cannot cruise, tour or off road. RE got bikes that can do all.
Dominar is cheap because it is not durable.

You have no idea how hard it is to ride RD350.. All drum brake.. With filament scooter bulb in night of 1998 on remote single lane road at 110 kmph and a black gaur decide to run across the road..
I have managed that situation.. I was under age back then.. Had experience of barely 120 kilometers of total distance..
After that my next ride was in 2006 on discover.. (My cousin made my story viral in my own family and my family sold RD with a week)

Same happened with me, i was in a four wheeler on highway at night, and a bike rider changed lane without giving any indicator at high speed and came in front of vehicle, driver hit the brakes hard enough that everyone in my vehicle struck front seats.
We don't need abs if we go slow 30 to 50
30 to 50 on a highway? Seriously? In case you didn't know, the speed limit on that road is 100kph. But yes, common sense calls for extra caution when there are other vehicles around for our own safety.

ABS work was excellent...
It happened with me, when I was in a car and a police jeep suddenly did this. It went on a accident and me in hospital for a day. Thankfully no one was injured but cars were very much damaged.
I'm confused. Motorcycles stop and slow down pretty quickly without locking the breaks. I don't understand why you think and saved your life . I've probably avoided idiots exactly like this 1000 times by now. And never had a bike with abs.
