That's the wrong reason why they were awarded $1 they were awarded $1 because they didn't know the value of the lawsuit they didn't know what to put so they were told to put $1
Are you just pulling lies out of your ass? The lawsuit claimed 1.32 Billion dollars in damages. The jury agreed with the complaints in the lawsuit, but also saw that the USFL caused that damage to itself. They were legally obligated to award a dollar amount to the USFL, so they awarded them literally 1 dollar.
I read the book. The chapter on the San Antonio Gunslingers alone is worth the read.
