    I'm loving the un-coordinated and honest Rachel - this is me ALL the time, everyday. EVEN worse when on my period - but mainly it's because of my autoimmune disease, so I FEEL YOU. Honestly Rachel, I just want to hug you and laugh with you on the floor of your bedroom right now...love ya so much - but keep being you xx

    I just wanted to say as a long term sufferer with anxiety and weird hormonal shifts - that anxiety you were feeling makes total sense. Iron levels drop naturally during your period for normal people, adding in an iron deficiency as well that can cause anxiety symptoms in the body. Add to that lack of sleep which is a really common trigger for anxiety even being a bit dehydrated can trigger anxiety and the physical symptoms. Also, when I haven't been travelling in a while I can feel anxious even though I've travelled alone hundreds of times. As a fellow Aussie living in the country, I'd consider getting stuff checked in Melbourne because wait times for things can be way longer in the country - just my two cents as a total stranger. Enjoy Melbourne and hope you're okay. Love your vlogs!

My husband and I used to book really early flights when we were going on holiday but now try to organise things so we can get up at our normal time (when possible). My heart goes out to you. Lord have mercy on you and bless you with traveling mercies. God bless, Love Rachel

    As someone with low iron and chronic health issues I really relate to that heavy body, brain not working, every movement feeling like an effort situation! I’d definitely just get a blood test through a bulk billing doctor if you can then at least the results are ready to go for when you do get back to your regular doctor just speeds up the process a little. Also, the nauseous gross horrid feeling of waking up too early is a thing for me too!

    Glad you are safe and are enjoying your trip. When I had severe iron low iron levels and had the same symptoms. I believe it is difficult to get a good night sleep due to lack of sleep as our body is depleted. By not having a good night sleep our brain is not producing enough serotonin which can create anxiety. If you are always questioning whether or not to see the Dr, perhaps just see one and get that off your mind so you can enjoy your visit. I also take magnesium in the evening to help me with my sleep, and as one that my mind won't shut off at night, it has been helping. Take care and have fun😎💜

    If I was feeling really bad and it was affecting my ability to function then yes I would seek out a doctor or check into a hospital or clinic. Just tell them your symptoms and then you can find out what’s going on and how to treat it. And this may give you peace of mind for your Melbourne trip so you can relax and enjoy spending time there.

I’d go see a doc in Melbourne, it’s just bloodwork and iron. Just do it! All the best and enjoy your visit. Much love! 💜🤍💜🤍💜🤍💜🤍💜🤍

    I’d encourage you to get your lab work done ASAP so you have answers and can start taking action. I know how fatigue makes everything (even the fun stuff) a ton of effort and if you can get a jump on iron, why not start sooner? Of course it’s your choice, but it’s hard to see you struggling. Sending a cyber hug! 💛

    If you haven’t, get your thyroid checked and make sure your levels are optimal, not ‘normal’. The tiredness and cold is a sign of under active thyroid too. Nutrient issues have knock on effects.

    Hi Rachel, long time quiet follower, love everything you do an resonate with so much of your content (especially having moved countries a few time!)
    I feel like I remember you went for coeliac testing earlier this year, not sure if you had an answer in this. I am and have been diagnosed for almost 4 yrs. If iron tablets aren’t helping it could be down to your gut not absorbing nutrients (even from supplementation), if you have been tested, and negative (due to disease not being triggered or not consuming enough gluten for testing, need to have like 4 + slices of normal bread). Fatigue and low iron b12 can be symptoms, not just of coeliac disease but others too. Hopefully you get some answers ♥️♥️

      Yes was just having this conversation actually. The heavy periods started after getting vaccinated and have progressively got worse. Don’t know if it’s related but definitely could be a thing. I’ve just heard it from too many people

    • @josephinedewitt3380
      @josephinedewitt3380 7 месяцев назад

      I've watched for years but never commented. Your exact situation happened to me after the covid vaccine. Extreme bleeding started within two days and didn't go away...I had never had unusual periods and they were always like clockwork. Suddenly I was having them two times a month for weeks at a time. I became severely anemic for the first time in my life and entered premature menopause. I had sky high anxiety, no energy, and my chest ached like first trimester pregnancy. Doctors were throwing around hysterectomy and transfusions and finally in a last ditch effort they thought that birth control might give my body a chance to regulate and calm down. And one year later I feel almost completely back to normal. I know that's pry not what you want to do with possible kids in your future (I was done with that but I didn't want to get back on the pill) - but it worked.
      The doctors that initially rolled their eyes when I said this started with the vaccine have all apologized to me and said they see so many women now-I was one of the first groups vaccinated in the States so nobody believed there were bad side effects. I hope you find an answer soon too.
