I've been sewing for 50 years and this is the BEST explanation of the differences between the two feet and the best, clearest tutorial for the ruffler foot, even now, three years on.
OMG. I have had so much frustration with the gathering foot and after watching your video i will be buying the ruffler foot now. Thank you so much for your video.
Great tutorial, well explained and demonstrated🎉. Love what you did with the pillow, do you have a full tutorial for the pillow? I quickly scanned yr playlist but couldnt see anything. If not would you consider doing a full tutorial❤ I loved the tips on tightening the needle, i previously followed someone else’s tutorial and my needle fell out 😮. Also the tip of pulling fabric out of the ruffler, is easy to damage ruffler if you dont do this properly. You packed a lot in to this video in a concise way 👏
Nice instructions but it never ceases to amaze me when demonstrators insist on using two fabrics of the same value when sewing two things together. I realize you’ve used fabrics that would make a pretty pillow but it’s nearly impossible for your audience to see what you’re doing. Please give some thought how your items look when watched on a small screen in 2D. I also wish you had taken the few extra seconds to show how you maneuvered the corners while sewing the ruffle onto the pillow. Thanks

Was scared to attempt using but now just need practice to have fun with ruffles
Very interesting
A great invention! I agree they haven't changed, checkout the rufflers that were used on vintage treadle machines.
