Wonderful video Pooja. That Roti dish actually reminded me of Mughalai Paratha that I used to eat at the Durga Puja Pandals in India.

Great sharing thanks. Bombay roti has copied the style from the West Indian rotis. The West Indian rotis have been around for a very long time in Toronto. If you get a chance do try West Indian Roti and the jerk chicken and doubles.

Thanks for showing Aanch. I don't know of any "modern" Indian restaurants in Toronto. Hope you find more and create new videos. I find most Indian places are the same old "auntie's recipes" , not that there's anything wrong with that, just looking for something new. London - UK has many.

I didn't realize that the butter chicken roti was not normal in India! I've been eating those in Toronto for years and always loved them!
Butter chicken is Indian so is the roti. What she meant is it's normally not served that way. Its normally served separately. The way they served it is a copy from the West Indian Roti and muton which u get all over GTA.
All the food bloggers be prepared for a big competition. Beautifully shot and wonderfully edited. Loved loved loved it. ❤️

Oh My GOODNESS. I myself am a Chinese Hakka living in Malaysia. I never know there is a combination of Indian and Hakka Cuisine.
It's not exactly the same since Indian hakka has an Indian twist with spices. Malaysian hakka is more Chinese with a Malaysian twist. Chinese hakka migration was in Kolkata a very long time back the same with Malaysia.

Every Indian restaurant has a plethora of vegetarian options as a lot of Indians are vegetarians
All the restaurants in Toronto has vegetarian options. May it be Indian or western ect.

Honestly I have tried butter chicken in almost all indian restaurants in GTA , you just cannot find anything close to the what you get in India (Moti Mahal) . I am not sure how you are finding it as good as you get in India. They don't even come close.

Agree with TheDailyChaiLatte - Indian food is going to be loved by Indian people of course but Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka Masala is almost universally loved in the West as well. Start there and then expand out.
