      I’ve wrestled for 6 years and have done Jiu Jitsu for about 4 years and I’ve never once had a staph infection. It’s easy to contract if your teammates aren’t being honest about having anything on the mats as most people will hide it, but excluding that I’d say just make sure your gym is very strong on sanitizing the mats.

      Staph and ringworm are common amongst grapplers, don't let that stop you tho, it's all apart of the hard work, when training in Wrestling, and Jiu Jitsu you'll find that stuff like Ringworm and Cauliflower ear are common, in my years of training I've never gotten staph because after every practice I shower and just wash myself thoroughly, just make sure that the gym you train at washes the mats and *ALWAYS SHOWER AFTER TRAINING*

    I had a disgusting horrible staph infection during high school football playoffs, fought through it but holy crap every scratch and pimple swelled up, and the Sports doc had to regularly squeeze tons of the gunk out of my arm, still have a scar from the gulf ball sized hole it made, sooo f**%in gross lol.

  • @kryptoid80

    As a medical provider, the skin infection he had and/or any treatment for it, wouldnt to impact his performance. The only reason to know medically prior to an event is to prevent the spread of the disease. Lee trying to cut that much weight is the reason for his fatigue. He attempts to drop too much event week (case and pt, his last failed weigh in).

      r w You must be a quack tbh. Average people know antibiotics wear you down and sap all your energy. Go back to school...you might hurt someone with your lack of medical knowledge

    • @kryptoid80
      @kryptoid80 6 лет назад +1

      Im a PA. I diagnose skin infections and treat them all the time. NEVER had 1 patient complain of fatigue from a skin infection or antibiotics that ive given. He comes into fight week too heavy. His cut is the cause of his fatigue. He missed at 157 because he came in at 162. Dropping 7 pounds in 5 days with someone that low of body fat % is dangerous.

      r w Everyone's body is different and can be affected in different ways. I personally have had staph numerous times. I never experienced abnormal fatigue because of it. Didn't train while I had it, because of how contagious it is.

    I can only imagine how long he waited for someone to mention the staph infection as an excuse for his loss. A loss is a loss, unless you’re bisping and are literally fighting with two missing eyes, no ribs, and an extra chromosome 21

    i think one of the reasons why ppl talk better and just more relaxed is cause joe really tries to connect with ppl and understand them, even though hes probs high as fuck joe is a person who really listens and cares and i think tht comes from seeing the bad things in life. kevin does seem like a nice guy but yes i agree like the rest, he needs to cut the shit talk. yes its fighting but when 80% of the comments are stop shit talking, its time to listen

    Lee seems so more likeable in this inteview / in an one on one conversation in general (as long as he's not busy _"discovering holes in Khabibs MMA-game"_ ) than in the press conferences he participated in, or before fights on the weigh-ins for example.
