44:17 that's me in the blue shirt climbing on the stage on the left. I was 12 turning 13 that April. Today i'm 37 and still listening to LTJ. I love watching this set. Takes me back to some good days of just shopping at Mad Platter, hanging out with Alan, digging for free posters, and buying cheap used CDs. Good times!
Fuck man, when you listen to music that just takes you back! 2001 I found this band. No knowing what the fuck to do with my life. Skating, smoking and not realising just how amazing those times were.
That absolutely captures the pure spirit of a LTJ show. Delays, wise cracks and shit-talking, joyful mayhem and a helluva lotta fun. I can't even count the number of LTJ shows I've been to and I enjoyed every one of them. Thanks for posting this.
I saw them for the first time about 6 weeks after this in Detroit. I weighed maybe 110 pounds and was crowd surfing for the first time and some skins tried throwing me onto the stage. I rolled and fell straight into the barricade wall and landed on my head and shoulders on the concrete. I went to USAF basic training three days later with massive purple bruising on my side. Good times.
I was at that show! That was the second time I had seen them live because my friends and I saw them in Pomona at The Glass House the night before. I’ve seen them live dozens of times by now. Always a great show.
Also I don't understand how you can listen to live music as energetic as LTJ and not wanna dance or mosh... what's up with all the people just standing there like statues?? I just saw them live a couple weeks ago and I couldn't help but mosh the whole show
when mad platterbclosed down in like 2004 i was drunk on a. 40 of king cobra and punched the bathroom mirror out and the lady working there said i see your hand i knownit was you ...and i ran down tje street with my hand bleeding hahaha my homie punched out the other mirror and came to find me 😅 good ol days man...in 1997 i was in 8th grade, damn i got my first nofx album there and my creepers at electric chair.

I was at the Glasshouse show. So many great shows during that era there.

Thanks for sharing, listening to these songs takes me back to high school.
poor chris haha probably still feels bad about refusing to sing badly, even though he totally rocked this show, and came through in the end
Well, I don't blame him at all, better he did not sing I mean he could've really destroyed his voice this way.
Poor Chris.
I was there! Very early when the stage was being set up. Got Wendys cups for our beers. Trombone was late, but we didn't give a fuck.
"It's too fucking early for this!"
God. They were so young. Still sound the same, which is nuts.
thanks for sharing, great record from the old ltj days
Hearing these guys from 1997, then from 2023, they basically sound the same live all these years later.
When your horn player finishes a verse for you. Best band ever
Omg, the best days of LTJ!!! Classic!! 🤟
I enjoy the banter in between songs. Too funny
The audio quality is brilliant!
