I'm not sure which impresses me more; the drum horses just carrying on like it's no big deal or the musicians behind them who somehow manage to ride AND play an instrument! Seems that takes a lot of talent and training!! Bravo! The ceremony was marvelous; happy birthday your Majesty!
I am so very proud of my British Heritage, just as I am proud of my American Heritage🇬🇧🇺🇸 The parade was so beautiful, it gave me goosebumps. I love England and hope I can return very soon.
I will never stop loving how the troops all have matching colored horses. It really does make for a more elegant view. Princess Anne looked AMAZING riding behind William.

A lot of kerchiefs were needed because tears were flowing quite frequently. It is the Welsh Guard trooping their Colour today on Saturday 17 June 2023. The first Trooping the Colour of a King since 1951 and King Charles III first trooping the colour. I’m looking forward to many Jubilees of Charles’ reign. God Save the King.
And I hope Royal Ascot has a better showing of all the members of the Royal Family. Charles (and Philip) were never really a fan of horse races so I predict he’ll make a showing on at least one day 🙏
HMTK Charles lll. William, Prince of Wales , Anne Princess Royal , and the wonderful troops all looked magnificent. Thank you for sharing this. God bless all . ❤
I have always been a staunch Royalist as my father was before me, and I have enjoyed so many moments and so many sad ones too. People say there isn't as much interest in our Royal family but what I have seen over the last few years with the sad loss of the Duke of Edinburgh Prince Philip then our beautiful Queen Elizabeth, then after the sadness new beginnings the absolute awe inspiring Coronation of King Charles the 3rd and then the celebration for King Charles birthday Trooping the Colour, I was moved to tears so many times to see all those crowds of all different ages colours creeds and a lot of different nationalities all there to watch the wonderful pageantry, it was wonderful to watch our King on horseback to inspect the troops and watch the display of military precision and the music all amazing. Then of course the Balcony moment and our favourite little 5 year old Prince Louis who never fails to bring a smile to everyone's face, and the fly past when the CR formation flew down the mall I was in floods and then to top it all of to hear the crowds singing God save the King you could see how moved King Charles was. Truly wonderful to see and made me so very proud to be British, God save the King 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
It seemed odd not seeing Queen Elizabeth there. She is probably rejoicing in heaven. may she rest in peace. God bless King Charles Love and prayers from Washington state in the USA.
I watched it on RUclips on my TV. I love the pomp and ceremony the Brits do. I enjoyed almost all of it except for the cameraman and audio outside the palace. They kept blurring it so you couldn’t t see them all leaving the Palace. The Trooping the Colour on the parade ground was awesome. Then back to the palace and you couldn’t hear the bands and couldn’t see them going back into the Palace.

No. That isn't how it works. Then the drummers would march the Rooks down to third mess (dinner) and finally the day would end for the bandsmen when the bugler would sound retreat and to the colors as the flag was lowered for the day.
