People now a days are more inclined towards features of vehicle than practicality of the vehicle. Even if the company provides less features but gives better range or after sales service and has more service centres than any existing so called known brand should be considered. The amount people are paying for premium scooters have fixed batteries which is not practical if u commute for longer distances and u live in appartments or high rise. Range anxiety will kill the pleasure to drive any vehicle which can give features more than long range and detachable battery.
Didn’t t you buy a parking space in the building ? I know a lot many don’t give a shit about parking space and are happy to just let their vehicle rot in open. Anyway, I live on the 7th floor and I have no issues charging my Ather. Removable batteries are over rated. Take me for an example, carrying that 20kgs battery? Not a good idea. I have a friend who got tired of it and eventually installed a plug in the open space where he parks his revolt. Plus, I don’t want everyone to buy EVs so soon. I still want to be proud of been an early adopter and enjoy free fast charging & without any queue. 😂JK..

This is open loot by Bajaj. Increasing price from 1.26L to 1.52L, such sharp increase in such less time. This is too high a price for this and there is no subsidy. Bad for EV industry and customers.
Customer says "this vehicle is totally made up of foreign parts therefore no subsidy". That means it's just a Chinese scooter imported and sold just like Okinawa or any other rebranded Chinese stuff. Even if body panels are made here in India rest of the stuff such as lithium cells charger controller and motor all comes from China.

There are many companies which have hiked their price for eg Chetak. These companies are trying to hijack the subsides and this will discourage genuine people from buying EVs.

Ola is giving very bad experience. I booked ola on August 15th. Immediately on it's launch day. Supposed to take delivery this month but cancelled it and booked Chethak.
Even after 54500 fame 2 subsidy and 10000 state subsidy price is still 1.5 lakh. Bajaj isn't transferring subsidy to customers, pure case of cheating, also Bajaj has huge network of dealerships still chetak is launched only 5-6 cities , and also 8-9 months waiting period for chetak, it tells Bajaj is not serious about chetak EV
People are so dumb! He should have bought Ather, Bajaj might be a brand but Chetak is not an evolved product. It's a part of import and dump scheme. 4500/ for connectivity is too high period...

There's a video on RUclips my a vlogger who uses ather, he did a ride in eco mode mixed conditions and got a range of 55KM. Any idea why? 55 KM is too less
Ather's motor is a Powerful one optimised for speed, acceleration and torque. So Eco mode will only be marginally better than sports mode. The range of Ather would depend on driving style too. Look out for Ola EV Scooter launch on 15 Aug 2021. It is supposed to have 150km range in top variant.

Bajaj chetak electric is a wonderful product. But Bajaj's intension is not at all good to launch it in every city and make it available for every customers. Prices they are increasing abruptly, too much cost for the subscription plan, available in just certain cities and few dealers. Bajaj must change their attitude towards EV's. Make it available in every cities, dont think about profit now. Tesla also made profit after few years of launch.
