Thank you for this video. And thank you for not giving spoilers--RUclips and the internet in general is a minefield when I'm trying NOT to be spoiled. I once had a TV show ruined because someone put the character's death in the title of their RUclips video. UGH! Also, The Paul Robeson House is here in West Philadelphia, 5 minutes from where I live and they give tours. As for the movies I have seen, The Barefoot Contessa is very Hollywood and only qualifies because Eva Gardner's character is from Spain, but it is still a good watch. This movie is not on the list, but I once saw Like Water For Chocolate and it was rich in magical realism and takes in 1900s Mexico. Thanks again. :)
I saw Like Water for Chocolate years ago and remember enjoying it. I'll probably watch The Barefoot Contessa on a night I don't feel like reading subtitles. It seems like an easy watch. If I ever get to Pennsylvania (only drove through it once on my way from TN to NY), I'll tour the Paul Robeson house. Thanks for letting me know about it!
Good luck on the budget. Be sure to include enough for a dress up scene. LOL housesitting. Somehow I can picture you with a list of which of your friends has what channels.
I might have a new house-sitting gig coming up, and the first thing I thought was, "I wonder what channels they have!" Alas, no dress up scene in The 99 Percent. I will try to add one to any scripts moving forward.
I loved Midnight in Paris ♥ I wanna rewatch it haha

@@AScreenwritersJourney 😀😀😀 An upscale dressup scene could be a budget buster for a microbudget.
